On a fine day at Shepard Park we won the toss and batted first. After a solid start by Vikram and Brent we saw Daniel and Brent feature in an 86 run partnership. We then saw another good partnership with Noah before losing some late  wickets
ending on 6 for 166 after 60 overs.
We then saw some tight bowling by Daniel and Matt but our fielding let us down with many dropped catches, after 12 overs our opposition was only 0 for 18. Our tight bowling led to a collapse led by Vikram,Brent,Shiv,Riley and Arun  all taking quick  wickets. 3 great catches by Mitchell and a runout by Noah had our opposition 7 for 73 after 30 overs.
Our boys soon wrapped up the tail with Glenmore Park being all out for 92. Special mention to Aakash and Joel who also bowled well. Also a special mention to Glenmore Park for being worthy final opponents.
In the end after winning all of our round games we remained undefeated. This was a truly fantastic effort, congratulations to our boys on being worthy winners. Special thanks to all our parents, in particular all our helpers on training days, our manager Belinda and Avidy for making this a great year

Under   14/2 Grand Final                St Clair         85    lost to                         Glenmore Park                 117
                Kyle       29                                                                                              Kyle        3 for 12
                Jacob    20                                                                                             Reece     2 for 12
                                                                                                                               Jarrod     2 for 15
Glenmore Park won the toss and went into bat. It was tight bowling all day from all our bowlers. Eventtually bowling Glenmore Park out for 117 in 62 overs.
It was going to be hard getting the runs with Glenmore Park having very good bowling depth. Our best partnership of 27 runs between Kyle and Jacob was as good as it got. The steady fall of wickets ending in the 52nd over at 85.
Congratulations boys on getting to the final, playing only 4 out of 13 matches with 11 players making the final was a great effort. We did win the One Day final so there is always something to take away from the season.
See you at the presentation
