When you sit there alone day after day,
Thinking to yourself all you do is fade away.
You think you're not wanted,
And you think you're being taunted.
You think to yourself what's the point in life,
That's all you think about until you grab the knife.
You feel like everyone hates you, like you're not meant to be,
Just hold on another day and you will see.
People may give you dirty looks and call you ugly names,
But when you're the last one laughing, they call it all games.
You tell them to stop to leave you all alone,
Yet you know one day they'll reap what they've sewn.
You may look for an easy way out, like drugs, sex, and abuse,
If you hold on to these you won't be able to refuse.
Refuse the darkness that's held you for so long,
You think everything's okay until it all seems too wrong.
Every night before bed, you may cry yourself to sleep,
When in reality the hill you yearn to climb is way too steep.
You've thought of everything like taking your life away,
You plan it out, and you say today will be the day.
No matter what happens, God will be with you,
He'll hold your hand until you get through.
Life may be the worst thing that God has ever done,
Don't give up now; you'll never see you could have won.
God put us on this earth for a certain reason,
If you don't see him now, you'll see him again another season.
He's testing you to do your best, to be stronger than any other,
That's why so many people in our positions eventually recover.
When you think about doing harmful thing,
You kill, you die, you don't get wings.
