Ed's  News  and  Random  Stuff  page
(New Year's Day, 2004)  2003 was a bit of a disasterous year from a financial point of view - work didn't really come in and I have been very short of money.  Hopefully 2004 will be better - I am applying for the TA, and talk says that the recession in the film industry is set to lift, so things should improve.  Stirling has been amazing and 2004 looks like it will only be a better year - love it!  That's all for now.
MICROSOFT'S SENSE OF HUMOUR
Recently, MSN did an ad campaign on their site for Wonderbras.  I couldn't help but laugh at the caption below the picture shown opposite: "Click to Enlarge."
RESULT!!!!!   The wonderful people at Military.com have sent me this beautiful medal, because this site is one of the best military sites on the net!  (I'm not sure exactly where it rates, but I assure you the award is genuine.)  Cheers to all at Military.com!
This is a headline bar from a news website's page on            > Afghanistan.  OK, yuh, I know we're all upset about September 11th and everything, but is this really the right attitude?  With the smiling American trooper and RUSSIAN fighter plane?      Wanna know something?

About me...
Full name: Edward Malcolm Wright
Age: 21
Lives: Hertfordshire, UK.
Description: 6' 1" (just), average build, dark brown hair, blue eyes, glasses.
Job: Freelance Camera Assistant
Religion
: Christian
Hobbies:
Everything on this website, plus (not in order of preferance) watersports (sailing, kayaking, hydroplaning (!)), monstertrucks, military aircraft, flying, computer games, sword-fighting, movies, and photography. (Phew! I'm active!)
Marital status:
Single
Primary aims at the moment:
Become a full-time cameraman or join the army.
Most stupid thing I've ever done
: Shot myself in the foot (literally).
Best time(s) I ever had
: Stunt flying, foreplay, and finding God.
Favourite Action Hero
: James Bond (Sean Connery) (he gets guns, cars, and girls!), maybe Leon cos he's such a nice guy, and you can't forget The Avenger, The Killer Of Killers,  Eric Draven (The Crow).
Level of craziness
: Honestly, about seven out of ten.  I know when to be sensible, and I'm not dangerous (No... don't run away.....), but I do love to do crazy things. Hey, if you're not crazy, you're boring.
Most crazy thing I have ever done:
Amongst other things, jumped off a high river bridge. (PAINFULL! DO NOT TRY!)
Musical preference
: Rock, or basically anything except garage, rap and hip hop/r&b.  I do listen to Classical, Jazz, Heavy Metal, and a tiny bit of old skool dance and trance/industrial techno music, but it's almost invariably rock/metal by choice.  Oh, I also hate that kind of jingly over-happy upbeat music that sounds like Christmas music but isn't.
Film preference
: Basically anything except musicals.  To put it bluntly, anything I find interesting or exciting!  I enjoy scary movies, (thrillers, horrors) and anything with a good twist.  I like arthouse films and indie films because more often than not they're where the real unsung talent lies.
Absolutely favourite movie of all time:
Don't have one.  I like way too many good movies to say any one in particular.  The movies I have seen the most times are The Crow and The Rock, although my favourites include Fight Club, American Beauty, Cube, Highlander and The Matrix among many others.
Favourite way to relieve stress:
D'uh!  Shooting!  I am a complete gun nut!
Number of guns owned:
Over 20.  (No, don't run away....!)
And finally.....
