It's cute and all, sing-along worthy, but something about it (I dunno, the banjo and fiddle maybe?) just annoys the hell out of me. | BARA no Himitsu Gotta love the beginning.. dun dun dun! Lol. The rest of the song is cute. Sounds very Broadway... and since this is a SeraMyu song, it's very fitting. Has some cute flute music, and I love Mamoru's voice ^.^ For some reason, the musical break in the middle reminds me of Mary Poppins. ^^; It's a good song though. | BIRTH ~ Moon Prism Power (Symphonic Poem) Let me start off by saying the entire Sailormoon R Symphonic Poem cd is beautiful. This is track number 2 on the album. It starts with a trumpet fanfare, dissonent chords are played, then goes into Otome no Policy. The melody of Otome plays in different keys, sounds a bit mysterious, and moves into a rendition of Moonlight Densetsu featuring (French) horn. More transitional music, then back to those dissonent chords and Otome no Policy. A very good symphonic song, I'd love to play it in band! | Chikara wo Awasete Taiki's image song which gets its title from a phrase in Hottokenaiyo.. Now, even though I'm not a Taiki fan by any means, I cant totally knock this song. It's sung fairly well, and the brass is a plus. But at over 6 minutes in length, it's just a bit much for me to have to endure. Gomen nasai, Taiki-kun... For Uranus and Neptune, being such mature and refined characters that I'm used to from the anime... this song sounds like Luna! in a minor key -.-; Dont get me wrong, I still sing along, but it seems inappropriate to the characters. | Dakishimete Itai Is it just me or does it seem funny for an apparition to have his own image song? ^^;; This is Tsukikage no Knight (Moonlight Knight)'s song, and it's not too shabby. I dont care for the guitars because of how they slide around the notes, but the melody is nice, and Furuya Tohru does a nice job of singing. I love when he says "pretty baby" ^.^. Starts with Moonlight Densetsu, moves into Otome no Policy, then Moon Revenge (:-D), back to Moonlight Densetsu, a little percussion break, then Otome no Policy again, then PRINCESS MOON o.o and it actually sounds COOL! | Dark Intrigue ~ Energy Hunter's Trap Let me start off by saying the entire Sailormoon R Symphonic Poem cd is beautiful. This is track number 4 on the album. It starts off with a very mysterious tone, reminds me of a suspense movie soundtrack. It gets more urgent about 2 minutes into the song, then quickly goes back to its eerie quietness for another 2 and a half minutes. Then it builds up to a climax, and quiets back down to leave quite an unsettling feeling... it's marvelously done. I give it a 10. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Dead Moon no Kuroi Yume Again, excuse my lack of knowledge of the SeraMyu musicals. This one is sung by Zirconia and other assorted minions in the Dead Moon Circus. It's verrrrrry fun to sing along with ^.^ And I especially like when 2 groups sing together (Jirukonia, Jirukonia!) I don't have much else to say about it.. it's a typical musical-style song. | Death Busters no Yabou This is from my favorite season, Sailormoon S. My favorite bad guys, the Witches 5 ^.^ The main theme is played on a cello, then a bassoon. It is very dark and mysterious Slow melody and a-tonal accompaniment on piano make for a distubingly wonderful piece. On of my favorites of the Sailormoon background music songs.
