Ernest and I have been together since July of 1999. Ernie served in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1997 and due to family problems back home in Alabama, he was honorably discharged from the corps later that year. Had he not been discharged, we may have never met considering he was from Alabama and I was from Illinois..thank goodness for the internet (that's how we met)!!! He is currently serving in the U.S. NAVY and is in Sicily, where he has been for the past two years. Ernest is due back home June, 2002. Above left is his boot camp graduation picture and the picture above right is my most favorite picture of my baby!!! It was the ever so memorable week we first met, who would have ever thought we would end up married??? I haven't spoken with my husband in a long time and if by chance he see's this page the one thing I would like to tell him is:

I love you with all my heart and soul. We haven't seen each other in a really long time, I wish I could only fast forward time so we could live as husband and wife. No matter where you go a part of me will always be with you. I love you more than you could possibly know and I long for your touch. I want to share the rest of our lives together. I forgive you for everything....everything we have been through these past two years, let's start a new, and love like no one has ever loved before. I wish you would contact me baby!!! Again, I love you and wish I could tell you face to face but for now this will have to do. I am so PROUD of you for doing what you do, even more so for just being you.
