So! Here is part 4!

Part 4

“Red?” Bill asked as he looked at the fainted trainer.

Suddenly, there was a flash of lightning. Bill jumped back.

            “What was that?” Surge asked.

A figure suddenly scooped Red and his pokemon up and took off.

“Hey! Come back here you!” Surge said, running after it. Yellow followed, as did Bill. * Who?! *

Lance sighed. < You’d better be playing dead, Ash. >
            < You’re mean. Can’t you see I’m hurt? >

            < I don’t believe you… >

The Pallet trainer opened his eyes. “Well, I fooled them.”

“I’m leading them to the Volcano. There, the final battle will take place.”

            Red grinned ferally. “Yes…”

“Whoa.” Surge said, staring at the bubbling lava before. “Where’d they go?”

            “Right here.” A voice said.

Surge and the others looked up and saw Red sitting on a Dragonite with another trainer, who had his arms around him.

            Lance smirked.

“You give him back!” Yellow said.

“A flying type. Good. Electabuzz, Thunder!”
Dragonite suddenly whipped its tail around, sending Electabuzz flying.

“I’d better help too…” Bill said. “Vulpix, go! Use Flamethrower!”
“Gyra, I choose you!” Red said. “SURF!”

Vulpix crumpled down to the ground, soaked.

            “Red! Stop this!” Yellow said.

Red’s eyes narrowed. “I know what would have happened if…” He broke off and pulled out another poke ball. “No matter now. Don’t call me Red! My name is Ashura!”

Yellow pulled out her own pokemon. “Raticate, Caterpie, Doduo, go!”

Red laughed. “I would expect a trainer like you to have a weak team. But if you want to battle, I won’t hold back. Dragonite, go!”
“Raticate, Super Fang! Caterpie, String Shot! Doduo, Drill Peck!”

Dragonite looked annoyed and threw them all to the ground.

Red suddenly glowed with golden light. When it cleared, he was levitating in the air. He smiled at them.

            “Still want to fight?”

Red’s pokemon vanished back into their poke balls, except for Pika.

“What did you do to him?” Yellow demanded.

Lance raised his eyebrows. “I simply showed him the future he would have had if he had refused to join the Elite Four.”

            “That’s manipulation!”

            “So?”

Blaine and Mewtwo woke up. Mewtwo used Recover inside its poke ball and got ready to fight again.

“Come on, Mewtwo. They’re up there.”

Mewtwo created the bubble again and they floated over.

            “Mewtwo, use Psychic!”
“Red, watch out!” Lance said, as he summoned his two Dragonair. “Use Twister!”

The two Dragonair threw Mewtwo’s bubble into a loop. Blaine and Mewtwo were flung around as they tried to steer.

Ash gasped as the psychic energy slammed into him. His eyes fluttered closed and he began falling. However, beneath his feet, a star-shaped disk of red energy formed, keeping him above the lava.

“This is bad.” Bill whispered to Surge, who nodded.

“I don’t’ know what Red’s doing, but it’s definitely not normal.”

Red’s eyes opened again, but this time they were a blazing red.

“Fire.” Lance said to himself. “Nice.”

Red floated up, still going. Another poke ball formed in his hands. “Rapidash, go.”

Meanwhile, Blaine and Mewtwo had escaped the twister and were ready to continue attacking.

< What do we do? > Mewtwo asked.

“I don’t know, Mewtwo.” Blaine said. “We’d need a flying type to disable him first.”

“It’s no use.” Lance said softly. A chill wind began to blow in the air. “The time has come.”

            “Fire and Lightning…” Red said.

            “Together with Ice…”

“Summon forth the great guardian of the seas…”

            “Mewtwo, Psychic!”

Red’s eyes flashed red, and a shield of fire surrounded him. “Pika, Thunderbolt!”

Yellow turned to Blaine. “Blaine, what’s wrong? That isn’t the Viridian Power!”
(A/N: The Viridian Power is granted to a trainer born in the Viridian forest every few years. It gives the trainer power to read pokemon’s thoughts and heal them.)

            “Of course not.” Red said.

            “Electrode, Explosion!”

Both trainers were flung back by the force of the explosion. Surge grinned. “Heh. They weren’t expecting that, were they?”

There was a splash, and then the lava closed over both of them.

Blaine looked stricken. “Surge! We weren’t supposed to kill him!”

            “But you didn’t specify anything.”

“I can’t believe it!” Bill said.

“Well, if he fell in that lava, there’s no way he could be alive…”

It was at this moment that the sun came up. All of a sudden, the lava parted, swirling away.

Red appeared, on his back were two pairs of wings, one red, one gold. He flapped his wings once, and the entire hillside suddenly burst into flame.

            “What?!”

            Mewtwo looked troubled. < I’m afraid of this… >

Yellow turned to her pokemon. “How?”

There is a prophecy. It’s called the prophecy of the triple guardianship… three guardians, who keep the peace between the dimensions, one each for Fire, Ice, and Lightning. But Red somehow has the powers of both Fire and Lightning, and…

“Well, someone has figured it out.” Red said.

Lance appeared in a flash of light. He had ice blue wings, and one flap froze the ocean.

“This world has fallen to Missingno already. This is the only way to save it.”

            “You’re insane!”
“The only way to save the world is to destroy it.”

            “No!”

The two shrugged at the protests. “Well, in that case, it’s really too bad…”

And then there was a flash of white and they were gone.
