Chapter five!!!

Hehehe. So! How did you like my ending? Maybe I should have made it a bit more exciting… Oh yeah. Only ONE person has sent me e-mail! Please e-mail me!! Oh yeah, all new pokémon/attacks belong to me so ask permission before you use them! Offenders will be prosecuted. I do not own pokémon! It belongs to Nintendo, 4kids, etc.

Ash headed through the door and found himself face to face with Agatha. She looked at him with narrowed eyes. Ash frowned and reached for a poke ball. “Want to battle?” he asked. Agatha screeched and threw out her first pokémon, Gengar. “Hypnosis followed by Dream Eater!” she yelled. Ash sneered as he reached for his first pokémon. (Alakazam, go. Psychic followed by Disable.) Alakazam nodded as it appeared and shot of a Psychic, countering Gengar’s Hypnosis attack. Then, he disabled it so Gengar couldn’t move. (Psywave.) said Ash. Alakazam nodded and finished off Gengar.

Next, Haunter, Golbat, and Arbok were all beaten by Alakazam. Agatha was down to her last pokémon, another Gengar. Alakazam was getting tired so Gengar knocked it out. Ash frowned and sent out Blackie (Umbreon.) Since Dark-types were strong against ghosts, a faint attack was sufficient enough to knock out Gengar. Ash proceeded through the door and prepared to fight Lance.

Lance watched Ash through a video camera. Ash’s team consisted of Tempestwolfe, Lapras, Umbreon, Alakazam, Moltres, and an unknown pokémon, which would probably turn out to be his nigh-all-powerful Pikachu. The only problem would be Lapras, since it knew Ice Beam and Blizzard. Other than that, Lance was pretty sure that he could take Ash on. He snapped his poke balls onto his belt and proceeded to wait for Ash by the statues.

Ash walked through the rooms until he found Lance. “At last, a trainer worthy to battle me.” Said Lance. “I have waited years for this opportunity. No matter. We shall battle now to determine who is the true Champion!” Ash closed his eyes and summoned out Lapras, and Lance had suspected. “Gyrados go! Thunderbolt!” Gyrados immediately shot off a thunderbolt. Lapras screamed in pain but bravely countered with Blizzard. The Gyrados took another hit before launching into its almighty dragon rage attack. Unfortunately, while it was powering up, Lapras had launched off two ice beams which froze it solid.

“Return, Gyrados. Dragonair, go!” The dragon trainer shouted. Dragonair let out a bubblebeam followed by a thunderwave. Luckily, Lapras was part ice so it wasn’t as effected. It shot an ice beam at dragonair, which K.O.’d it. The next Dragonair was as unlucky as its twin. Finally, out popped Aerodactyl. The prehistoric pokémon fired a hyper beam at Lapras, which fainted the faithful transport pokémon. Ash reached for his next pokéball and sent out Moltres to deal with the pest. Moltres let out a Fire Blast, which severly damaged Aerodactyl, which couldn’t attack because it needed to recharge, and finished it off with a Thunder Freeze attack.

Lance finally had to send out his faithful Dragonite. *Please do not fail me Dragonite. * Pleaded Lance inside his head. The Dragonite sensed his master’s discomfort and tried to help. It let out a Hydro Pump at the offending bird who was flitting above its head. Moltres swiftly evaded the attack and shot a Fire Blast. Dragonite shot a Blizzard, which froze Moltres. Ash reached for his very last pokémon. His faithful pal, pikachu.

Sensing her master’s pain, Pikachu (Who had rejoined Ash after he had defeated Crysta the first time.) jumped out into the ring and faced her opponent. Her amber eyes alighted on the huge Dragonite and she immediately let out a Thunder attack. Alas, the Dragonite was not particularly weak against electricity, so the attack did not do very much damage. It shot a mighty Hyper Beam at Pikachu, who emerged from the debris covered with bruises. As Dragonite readied a second Hyper Beam, Ash saw his chance and told Pikachu to use “Shield of Reflection.” The shield protected Pikachu from the Hyper Beam while it reflected the rest back at Dragonite. (Finish it off with Snowstorm.) Pikachu shot ice and snow mixed with electricity at Dragonite, which successfully finished it off. Ash smirked. Lance looked like he was ready to faint.

“Um-since you have beaten me, you are now a pokémon master!” said Lance. He blanched as he thought of what havoc Ash would cause. Ash smiled as he accepted the badge. He fitted it into the center of his belt. “I owe it all to my faithful pokémon.” Said Ash proudly. “If it weren’t for their hard work and determination, I would have lost.” Lance stared at Ash. Was this the same person who had single-handedly murdered the trainers, 8 gym leaders, and rockets all trying to capture him? It seemed very unlikely. Ash paid no mind to Lance as he reached for another ball. “I have to go now.” He said. “Alakazam, Teleport!” The psychic pokémon nodded its head and they ended up back on Ice Island.

Gary Oak slammed his fist into the wall, and then grimaced in pain. Ash had gone to Indigo Plateau without his knowledge. He had beat Lance the Dragon Master and become the League Champion. It was so unfair. Gary knew in his heart that he could have beaten Lance, but had not taken the opportunity because he was grieving over Misty’s death. Ash, on the other hand, seemed like he couldn’t care less that he had killed one of his friends. Gary was considering the fact that Ash was an emotionless jerk, who cared about nothing except pokémon.

When Ash’s sister, Crysta, had come to ask Gary for his help, Gary was surprised that Ash could be so rude to his own sister. He had beaten her three times already and she wanted Revenge for Misty’s death and her humiliation. Unfortunately, all of Ash’s pets were completely devoted to him and definitely would not consider betraying their master for the good of the world. It was really frustrating as Ash’s pokémon were unbeatable alone and together it seemed impossible that anything would ever happen to Ash.

His siblings, who were all proud that their little brother had claimed the title of Pokémon Master, congratulated ash. Crysta, on the other hand, was rather stressed out. She knew that once a person attained the status of Master, their pokémon’s stats and level would increase at a far more rapid rate than usual, as would their loyalty to their owner. She shuddered at the thought of what Ash would do with such power under his control. The world she lived in was swiftly spinning out of control and there was nothing she could do to stop it.

Ash silently alighted on the roof of the gym in Cerulean. The three oldest Waterflower sisters were all airheads, and Misty was dead. Nobody would notice him. Except for Crysta. Ash prepared his Eternal Flame attack as the sky around him glowed gold-red. His eyes dilated and turned red-gold instead of their normal golden color. Ash raised his arms above his head as flames gathered around him…

Crysta awoke from her sleep with a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach. She knew that Ash was preparing something big and she honestly did not want to know. She looked up at the sky and gasped. Light shone across the heavens, even though it was past midnight. Ash had something to do with this, she was sure of it. As she watched, there was a brilliant flash and she cowered as searing heat ripped across her body, singing her fur before her pink shield bubble went up.

Ash sneered. So much for Cerulean City. It was ironic, really, how the city of water was destroyed by a fire attack. He called his faithful Pidgeot to him and flew away on silent wings. Below, Crysta watched in helpless terror as the city blazed and nothing was left but ashes. And even though the area was full of water, the flames seemed to glare brighter every time they encountered a source of water. Even the small river that ran through it was destroyed. All Crysta could do was hope that this madness would not continue. She flew to Vermillion to warn the townspeople, knowing that someone had to stop Ash before the entire continent was destroyed.

Vermillion burned.

So did Celadon, Saffron, Fuchsia, and Indigo. These burnings all happened simultaneously. Nobody knew how they were caused, not even Crysta. But Ash knew, and Moltres knew, and Honou (ho-oh) knew as well. They had caused the fires without any concern for the people living there. The pokémon, on the other hand, had been relocated and were now in no danger. Most of them had thrown in their lots with Ash, although one or two. Those were eliminated.

Cinnabar had not burned, since it was too small to be of consideration at that time. Neither had Lavender. It seemed that the destruction of Pallet four years ago had been a warning-to the people and their pokémon that they had better surrender or face destruction. Those who had harbored Crysta had been badly hurt. Those who happened were a bit more fortunate, but most died in the fiery heat that engulfed all major cities. Ash’s pokémon all knew why, but they were definitely not going to tell anyone.

Crysta mewed unhappily. Ash had won the Championships a week ago. It had been a weak of hell, all the cities going up in smoke. She felt that Ash was mentally unbalanced, although she had no clue why or how. But a pattern seemed to be emerging. Whichever city she warned was the next one targeted. Of course, Ash may have been going in order, but why on earth had he missed Cinnabar and Lavender? Was it because she had not sought refuge there? Could these problems all be her fault?

“Of course its your fault.” Said a voice behind her. Crysta whirled around to see Ash behind her, smiling but with calculated menace visible in his golden eyes. She backed away slowly as she took in his attire. Gold armor covered with jet-black stones set in some sort of a pattern ending at his waist, black feathers ending in talons on his legs. Two pairs of razor-sharp wings. Some type of a poke belt. Black hair down to his shoulders and tufts of short feathers framing his face. It would have been cool if he didn’t look so menacing.

“And so it ends.” Ash said. “I will finally get my revenge. Of course, my dear, if you prefer to run, I shall stalk you to the ends of the earth if needed. Cities will burn. Continents will mean nothing. I care naught for those humans who so bravely give their lives up for you. Go ahead and teleport, but I can follow you to the ends of this earth if necessary. So choose wisely. Do you wish for more people to die? Or do you want to end it now.”

Crysta gaped at Ash. He seemed so cool, so calm, so unconcerned. He did not care about people. He only cared about getting his revenge on her, even though she couldn’t remember what she had done to him. Well, she was going to put him back into his rightful place as her younger brother! With this thought in mind, Crysta readied her Psychic attack.

Ash smiled as he effortlessly blocked her attack. “Very poor, Crysta. You need to work on your skills. No matter. Eternity Freeze!” Crysta could not block this attack and ended up frozen solid in a block of ice. Ash pulled a black-hilted dagger out of its sheath and quickly slit her throat. He smiled as the winds swirled around him. Then, there was nothing but silence. Crysta was dead. He could finally go back to his newfound freedom without anybody pestering him. It was a good day.

Information!

Eternity Flame- Ultimate fire attack. Nothing can put this out except for Eternity Flood, the ultimate water attack.

Eternity Freeze-Ultimate ice attack. This is good against the Eternity Flood and nothing can defrost it except for the Eternity Flame.

Thunder Freeze-Electricity that freezes into ice. Enough said.

Shield of Reflection-A highly upgraded version of reflect. It actually reflects some of the energy back instead of simply defending you.

Please e-mail me! Should I write another part? I know this is probably not the ending that Crysta “whispering darkness” would have chosen but hey! She hasn’t updated in over a year so I took my own twist on this.
