Hi! Fourth chapter! Misty is already dead and it’s up to Crysta to get revenge! Ash goes to Indigo Plateau. Is he going to achieve his dream this time? Read this to find out! New pokemon and attacks mentioned belong respectively to me so ask permission before you use them! Offenders will be prosecuted. This was solely my idea and no one else’s.
Ash spread his wings and flew towards Indigo Plateau. He wore all black, complete with a gold vest and cloak. He grinned slightly. The Elite Four had no clue what was coming and they were going to be shocked, all right. Black and gold poke balls glittered along the strands of his belt as he absently reached for one. Out popped Eevee, who spread its own brown and white wings and flew next to him, chirping in its high voice. (Yes, I know Eevee has wings. All of Ash’s pokémon have wings.)
Lorelei sighed as she hung up her phone. She turned to face the other members of the Elite Four grimly. “That was Gary Oak. He says that Ash is heading for Indigo Plateau. We have to get ready.” Bruno nodded and proceeded to douse all of his pokémon with X-Defend. Lance filled his pockets with Hyper Potions. Agatha proceeded to put safegaurds on all her ghosts, and Lorelei gave all of her pokémon a never-melting ice. They were prepared. Or so they thought.
Ash headed for Indigo Plateau. He banked his wings and prepared to land as soon as he spotted the pillars outside. Suddenly, Ash sensed an attack and dropped lower in the air. Eevee was not so lucky and got hit by a Confusion attack. It fell towards the ground at an alarming rate. “Eevee, Return!” cried Ash, pulling his hurt pokémon back into the ball. “Tempestwolfe, I choose you!” A blue-white wolf with wings shot out of the poke ball, silver eyes gleaming as it focused on the small pink mew that was its target.
Crysta instinctively cowered. What sort of a pokémon was this? It was unlike any other that she had ever seen before. The wolf bared its teeth and shot what looked like wind mixed with sand and electricity at her. Crysta’s eyes closed as the attack hit her dead on.
Ash smiled. The infamous desert storm attack. He loved that move. Apparently Tempestwolfe did too. Its wagging tail was proof enough. Ash quickly threw out a disable attack, which put Crysta out of action. Then, he headed for Indigo Plateau. The Elite Four were going to lose so badly they’d wish they had never seen him.
Crysta watched them go with fear evident in her blue eyes. She fervently prayed that the Elite Four would be powerful enough to take Ash on.
Ash quickly landed on one of the stone pillars surrounding Indigo Plateau. “Halt!” shouted Lorelei. “You’re not getting past me if I can help it!” “Fine.” Said Ash, “Tempestwolfe, go!” “Dewgong, go!” shouted Lorelei. “Ice Beam!” (Sky Attack) said Ash telepathically. Tempestwolfe nodded as it started to glow. Dewgong shot an ice beam at it, freezing it solid. Or so they thought.
A minute later, Tempestwolfe blasted his way out of the ice it was in, before launching into a Sky Attack followed by a Take Down, which successfully fainted Dewgong. Lorelei frowned and reached for her next poke ball. “Cloyster, go!” The huge bivalve pokémon popped out of its ball and readied itself. “Spike Cannon!” shouted Lorelei, as the Cloyster shot hundreds of spikes at its opponent. (Fly) said Ash. Tempestwolfe immediately bent its wings and shot up into the air, skillfully avoiding the attack. It completed the move bashing into the Cloyster, which lowered its defense. (Pin Missle) said Ash, as razor-sharp feathers shot from Tempestwolfe’s wings and battered the poor Cloyster. “Withdraw!” shouted Lorelei, but it was too late as Tempestwolfe ended the match with a Wing Attack. Lorelei withdrew Cloyster and frowned. This was definitely not good. She could only hope that Bruno would be able to take him on, should she lose.
“Jynx, go!” shouted Lorelei. The gorgeous human shaped creature landed on the ground and proceeded to Lovely Kiss her opponent until he fell asleep, ending with a Blizzard. Ash frowned as he reached for his next poke ball. “Lapras, go!” The transport pokémon arrived in a flurry, launching a Hydro Pump at her opponent, followed by a Blizzard. The Jynx never had a chance before she was frozen solid, which made her unable to battle.
Lorelei was starting to feel very nervous. Reaching for her next ball, she whispered “Slowbro do not fail me.” Out popped the Symbiotic pokémon, which stared at Lapras in surprise for a long time before finally letting out a Psychic. Lapras countered with Confuse Ray, followed by Sing, which put Slowbro to sleep. (Dream Eater) said Ash, as Lapras nodded before shooting black energy at Slowbro and eating all its dreams, which dramatically upped its health points. Slowbro, on the other hand, was not as lucky, so it fainted a full five seconds later.
“Lapras, go!” screamed Lorelei, desperately trying not to lose control. True, she had lost before, but had managed to take out at least four of her opponent’s pokémon. If Tempestwolfe was the only fainted one, Bruno would have a lot of trouble. She had to take out Lapras, or else his team of Fighting and Rock types would be crushed.
The two water/ice transports glared at each other, before slamming into each other with incredible force. Since Ash’s Lapras was already tired out from two battles, it only took two ice beams to render it unable to battle. (Lapras, Return. Moltres, go.) The legendary bird of flame shrieked as it freed itself from the ball and shot a mighty Fire Blast at Lapras, followed by two Drill Pecks and a Flamethrower. Due to Moltres’ high speed, the Lapras was unable to react and promptly fainted.
Lorelei frowned as she recalled her last pokémon. Trying to keep her voice steady, she said, “You have defeated me. Now move on and experience true terror as you face the rest of the Elite Four. Good Bye.” Ash just smirked, recalled Moltres, and headed off through the doors to fight Bruno.
Bruno looked up as Ash walked through the doors. Apparently the kid had gotten past Lorelei without too many problems. But he was going to beat Ash so badly the kid would be crying by the time Bruno was done. Bruno looked at Ash maliciously and asked, “Shall we begin the match?” Ash’s only reply was a nod. “Good. Onix, go!” The enormous rock serpent towered over Ash, who reached for his own poke ball. “Lapras, go!” (Yes, you can use items between rounds.) The stunning transport pokémon opened its mouth and shot a Hydro Pump at Onix, which immediately fainted it. Bruno glowered and recalled it in a flash of red. This match was going to be a hard one, he could tell. Maybe he shouldn’t have underestimated the child because of his young age.
“Hitmonchan, go!” cried Bruno. The punching pokémon immediately materialized and was upon the Lapras in a second, alternating between Fire and Thunder Punches. Bruno smiled. Water was weak against fighting and it was clearly showing. The Lapras looked ready to faint. (Lapras, return! Tempestwolfe, go!) Lapras disappeared in a flash of red light and Tempestwolfe appeared and launched in a Fly attack. It successfully fainted the Hitmonchan, since flying type was strong against fighting type.
“Hitmonlee, go!” yelled Bruno, his calm starting to give away. “Hi Jump Kick!” Tempestwolfe shot up in the air with a second fly attack, which caused Hitmonlee’s attack to miss, so it kept on going and crashed. Tempestwolfe finished off the Fly attack, which destroyed Hitmonlee. The next two pokémon Bruno threw out, Machamp and Onix, were also quickly defeated. Ash proceeded towards the third door.
So…what happens next? Read Chapter 5 to find out!
