I�m here to find my son.� Duo narrowed his eyes but saw the truth written on the nervous girls face. She may have showed no signs of aggression but it was the pendant she wore that gave him pause. The silver crest twisted in infinite knots ending in the full bloom of an onyx lily. Wearing it marked her as on of the royal family. Body tense he covered Heero protectively as he answered, �What does that have to do with *My * Heero?� �Well a long time ago my donor had decided we should split up for a time so she could figure out if she really wanted to try to share a blood kiss with me. I was in one of the exclusive Blood clubs called sevens when the inconceivable happened. I was kidnapped. It was by an insane former Donor turned turncoat Dr.J. He was fascinated by the differences in Human and Blood physiology. Odin Lowe was his adopted son the child of former Slayers he was instilled with an almost inhuman fear and hatred of all things �Different�. He often helped Dr.J. conduct his so-called experiments on me. One of which was a child. He wanted to create a genetically modified child half human-half blood and superior to both. Apparently he had tried to grow it in a test tube but failed. He tried Human women next another Failure. Unfortunately Blood women can only conceive under extreme emotional circumstances. Usually passion and love He had to use fear and pain. The other two female Blood that came before me were to weak to withstand the extreme stress and died gruesome but thankfully quick deaths. I was chosen because those of the royal family are born stronger then regular blood. They were right and I was able to carry my child to term. Giving birth gave me enough strength to break through the wards placed on me and I was able to send to my donor.� Duo held tightly to Heero who had begun trembling at the beginning of the story and watched the girl closely. She didn�t cry or display any fear. Her voice was so calm as she looked through them seemingly into the past. �Even though our bond wasn�t as strong as those with a successful blood kiss we had been together for centuries and she had already been searching for me since I disappeared twelve months ago. I was fortunate that she had been you see I was very weak and was dieing from the long labor and loss of life force after the birth. Dr.J. and Odin had the child so they had left me to die in a pool of my own blood. My Dorothy came and rescued me killing Dr.J. but Odin got away with my only child. The only reason I had kept alive all those months thru all that pain. A baby boy I saw once and have been searching for ever since� Heero Yuy is his name. He was named after a legendary Vampire turned Slayer.� �Me?� �Yes, you Heero. But it wasn�t till a few days ago that his blood heritage awoke allowing me to track him.� Still not entirely convinced Duo gave her a cool measuring look, �So what does that have to do with my Heero?� -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Odin Lowe pulled into his street. He shouldn�t have come home early but he had discovered the wards placed on Heero at birth by Dr.J. had been broken. Uncontrolled. It left Odin with only one option to kill the boy who had once been his son. He would have felt bad about killing Heero but that thing was no longer human it was a monster. One of them. A white blur passed in front of his 4X4 and the tires screeched as he pressed the brakes of his 4X4. Cursing his stupidity he got out of the car and ran to the front, there was a young girl sprawled in the road with her eyes closed. �Oh no oh no oh no!� He muttered sick to his stomach at the thought he had harmed a fellow human being. Kneeling to check her pulse he sputtered as a hand to quick to be seen moved grabbing his throat and beneath those ashen forked eyebrows her eyes opened. He had never seen an expression of such pure malicious hate like that before and the last thing he heard before losing consciousness told him why. �I could kill you for daring to touch my Lena-Chan but that would be far to kind after what you have done to her. Before you die I will show you such agony�� -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dorothy looked at the unconscious man sprawled on the ground with disgust. Grabbing the keys from his hand she tossed them to Treize. Zechs smiled, �Thanks for the new car Dorothy we�ll take him to your �Play room�� -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Heero stared at the girl� Relena. She was his mom? Logically the idea was preposterous if not for the fact that a part of him was agreeing with her. �This has everything to do with Heero because due to those experiments I cannot have anymore children and as such he is the sole heir to the royal blood line. He has to receive training to help him learn to control his newly awakened powers. One day he will be ruling the blood with you by his side as his Shinigami you will need training too.� -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- They never found Odin Lowe�s body of course. It was generally assumed he had run off to be with another woman. Iria his grieving widow was comforted by her new lawyer Rashid. They were married within two weeks. Seemingly overnight the Maxwell-Barton Estate was closed and the family disappeared as if they had never been. Everyone was so shocked by the developments that they never noticed that the quiet boy who always blended in with his surroundings. What was his name? Oh yeah Heero Yuy had disappeared. When it was noticed that Quatre was also missing everyone assumed he had been sent to stay with his father, at least that�s what his mother thought. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Somewhere half a world away Catharine stared indulgently from the balcony of an unnamed palace at the couples dancing in the ballroom. Both of her sons were finally happy arms wrapped around their beloveds. Lady Une had been delighted with the fact she had a grandson instantly dismissing the circumstances of his birth she had thrown a ball in celebration.
