Status: Unbetaed Type: Part two of the Yami No Omocha Series A World In Which He Was Sun Heero lay still in the night, eyes shut tight against monsters real or imagined. His four-year-old body trembling where an all too familiar hand lingered. My beautiful Tenshi. Came the whispered voice of his brother. Another hand caressed the long rope of chocolate brown hair. While Shuichis hair was kept short for training purposes he insisted on the length of Heeros hair. Always mine. Childish lips whispered and descended to kiss his own. ~~~ Heero was never meant to be the perfect solider. He wasnt even meant to be born. But the moment they had pulled Shuichi from their mothers womb and discovered him clinging tightly to Heeros hand they knew. Mother, hah what a joke. J had created them with a team of elite scientist, experimenting with DNA and blank cells. How many embryos were aborted before they were conceived? No one had expected the carefully engineered biological soup to nurture two children in the silicon and metal womb of the machine that was their mother. They didnt care once they saw Shuichi with colorless eyes and hair, he had all the capabilities they breed him for and blended perfectly into the woodwork. Heero was smaller and weaker with vivid Prussian eyes and silky chocolate locks he was far to pretty to fade into a crowd. Unworthy of the growth formula that they gave Shuichi so they could begin his training sooner. Thats how his twin brother became two years older. ~~~ Heero was kept to the side, not seriously trained but there to observe. His brother adored him from the beginning. It was easier to train Shuichi if he was there too. A fail safe incase the perfect soldier ever failed. A reminder that they would take his precious Tenshi away. Back then Heero wasnt important enough to have a name. So Shuichi named him, he trained him like a living doll to be what he wanted. His methods were no less brutal then the scientist and the psychological damage were just as deep. They would have been better off killing Heero at birth. He was after all the reason for Shuichis first break in obedience. ~~~ When they were five a lab tech tried to take Heero away during one of Shuichi's more violent sessions. Shuichi turned on him continuing the attack long after the man lay lifeless on the floor. Heero had huddled in the corner as the room was painted a brilliant shade of death. Everyone knew better then to approach the room when Shuichi was in a rage. After all he would see them all as enemies except for his Tenshi. Once he was satisfied with his handiwork he crawled over to the shaking child and presented the mans severed hand with a smile. No one can take you from me Tenshi. It had all been captured by the lab cams. Determining Heeros presence was undermining Shuichis obedience to authority, they sent the younger boy away while Shuichi was on a mission. All Heero left was a long rope of hair on the bed. Now he to was a solider instead of a doll. ~~~ Heeros training came in hand while he helped Odin. He discovered a world outside the lab and saw the sun for the first time. Occasionally he even met children his own age and he learned just how wrong Shuichi was. It was then that he received his name, Heero Yuy. ~~~ When Odin died Heero was forced to return to the lab. Not a single word was said as he saw his brother for the first time in over a year. Shuichi smirked at him and tossed him a familiar looking gadget. It was a remote detonator. My Tenshi, no one is going to take you from me. It was the final piece of proof. J decided Shuichi was too unstable to use. So one night Heeros older brother disappeared and he took his twins place. But he was never quite as perfect or cold as Shuichi. The best he could do was a clinical detachment. Slowly memories grew blurry and his brother became another phantom of the night. Half remembered, features cloaked in shadows and far too in substantial to hurt Heero.
