Youkoso!
Thank you for visiting Sabrina's Sailormoon Shrine!
Let me give you a fairly long history about the origins of SSS.
The first starts of SSS actually began with my (Sabrina) fanfiction, Bishojo Senshi Sailormoon Roses. I have had plenty of writing experience, from my many Scooby-Doo fanfics, to writing assignments at school. After starting the planning process, The Seiya Kou Shrine, a Yahoo! club devoted to Seiya Kou (If you don't know who he/she is, why are you here?), started a fanfic contest. Deciding to participate, I, Sab, pulled the fic together and turned in the first 3 chapters. My good friend, Starnigh Menagi-chan offered to host them, until I could get enough time to learn about webpages. My first opportunity came with my Computer Applications class. There, I learned the basics of page-designing (earned an A, too). At The Seiya Kou Shrine, I met a very big Three Lights fan, who happened to be named Summer. Sum convinced me to extend my thoughts to a second season. I mentioned my intentions to build a site, and Sum mentioned the site that gave me hope,
HTML Goodies. I studied and soon had my first site up in no time, then named Princess Sabrina's Shrine (Yes, unbelieveably true). Sometime, during the very brief run of PSS, Summer met Drew, an awesome website designer who recently got out of the hospital and had nothing to do. Drew did contract pages, for a price, of course. However, all of his other pages had to be closed down because no one was paying. Sum and Drew hit it off, and Sum told me. Totally bogged down with no time to update, I gratefully accepted the help. I quickly made them part of the team and SSS took off with three people, lots of updates, and free hosting with Tripod. And, that's the rest of AnotherStory (Sorry, bad pun).
As you may have noticed, I am again running the site alone, and not on Tripod. The main reason for this change was the loss in contact. If Summer ever gets back to me, since we've both somewhat lost contact with Drew, I will gladly let her help. She's a great opinions writer, but she has no real experience with HTML. Near the end of our run with Tripod, no one updated and more and more ads were being injected in. I couldn't stand it anymore, so I left and tried to get my own domain. It totally fell through, mainly because I am a poor college student with no job, as of yet. Eventually, I will get a domain and move from Geocities, but I resolve to update my site as often as possible. Anyway, thank you for listening to my long lecture on SSS, and I hope you enjoy my little site!
However, the prospect of me getting a domain has been looking up! I've found a great place, and I have a job! So, maybe Christmas might have a new domain, location, and possibly look... Although, the look might just stay the same... ^_^;;; I hate making layouts... ^_^;
