Raye starts to have many visions about the scouts and the Earth being in danger. Meanwhile, Dr. Tomoe, an evil scientist, is in the process of making monsters out of what he calls Diamond Pods. It could attack a person to get their pure heart crystal and he is planning to use these crystals to gain power.
Raye becomes the first target of the Diamond Pod Heart Snatcher. When Raye touches a tree at the temple, the pod, which had been planted into the tree earlier, sprang out into a monster and tried to take Raye�s Pure Heart. Raye doesn�t want to transform because she doesn�t want to fight at the temple in case her grandpa gets hurt. The other scouts, at this point, appear to help her. Sailor Moon tries to destroy the monster, but it knocks her wand out of her hand and pins her to a tree. Then she detransforms for no reason. At the same time, all the other scouts attacked too, so they can� help Raye. The monster takes Raye�s Pure Heart Crystal, but suddenly, a mysterious attack comes at the monster and kills it, returning the Pure Heart Crystal back to Raye.
