Chapter One-Defining Moment

Dear Diary,

Ok I did the unthinkable. I kissed him. I know I know I wasn't suppose to, but I did. I am tired, so tired of following my destiny. I mean why do I have to be the one to do the right thing all the time? Why can't I be the to find happiness now and then? Well I am not going to even fight my heart this time. I have done it to many times. I have going to take control of my own life for once and who cares about the rest no one else does. It's time to have some fun. I mean they have not even met yet and so nothing has been lost. (ok wait I am thinking about them and I am not going to do that any more)

First things first, get an apartment. Then I need to set up my store. I
already have the designs and things ready to go. All right life here I
come! The new me is ready to come out and have fun! For now I am going sleep!

Sets

The young woman set her pen and book down and went to sleep. She was unaware of the forces that she had set in to motion. Maybe not so much aware as much as she did not care for once.

The three fates watched the girl from a screen. "She can't do that can she?"

"Of course she can, but she will have to meet her consequences eventually right?"

"There are always consequences Chance, always. Maybe later things will straighten themselves out Constance, it always does."

"Well I know one thing Life, this could prove to be a folly on her part but not if I can help it."

"Chance, stop it," admonished Life, "You know we can't get personally involved, we have been watching her forever but she will get it right in the end, just wait. Sets has never let us down before."

"I don't know Life, I just don't know this time," said Constance, as she walked away to the library of Time.

Notes:: This is my first attempt at a fic like this. All I ask is that you please tell me what you think, flames and all. For those of you that know me: Hiko, Marianya, and Hoshi- no flames guys because you know where this is going already. I know you three know where I am headed with this but you will just have to wait and see how
I finish it. *evil grin* *duck flying pillows*

Oh yea this is a fanfic, so the characters obviously don't belong to me. Chance, Constance, and Life are my creations though, along with any others that happen to come along for the ride.
