Imagine what we know today?
The world is where we have to play.
Is there life outside our door
or do we shrink,
and choose to hide beneath the bed and on the floor!
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Imagine what we knew back then
when we were but mice of men.
The earth was flat and had an end,
the road really never had a bend.
The air for birds and fish for sea,
now we see where, and there, indeed, is where we shall be.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Once we thought the earth supreme
and we might be the only thing
but now we have evidence
that there are more beyond our fence
So with all that in mind
Imagine what we may now find
