I fear the unknown,
The places I have yet to go.

I fear confrontation,
And having a real occupation.

I fear the IRS,
What if in my taxes I make a mess?

I fear freedom,
I fear containment.

I fear things in outer space,
I fear in life I have no place.

I fear death, I fear life,
Don't my feelings sound all too trite?

I fear feeling out of place,
So I plaster on a happy face.
