Holograms again flash before you,
but this time tiny crystal spheres materialize inside them.
Each holograph is of a perfect musical symbol,
and when you reach out to touch it, you feel
a strange presence looking over your shoulder.
"You know, simple midis do not do me
justice in the least, do you realize that?"
comes Jareth's insiduous voice.
"It's probably because Nancy can't afford
the storage space that wav's and mp3's require," you retort,
aching to put the smug king down a few notches.
As the silence continues, you realize that Jareth has left.
Grumbling about pest problems, you reach out for a sphere again...
