Chapter Eight:
the Victory and the Stars
by Kiwi and Shamanic Nuriko
SMACK!!! Nikhil Coralie, a lively, petite, orange-haired girl with split personalities and wide, golden eyes, smacked a stamp onto the back of her geometry test which was for her 10th grade advanced geometry class (even though she was only in 9th grade). She then smiled, satisfied that she had made a very inky stamp that was dark green and in the shape of a grasshopper onto the test paper.
Nikhil then stamped a dark brown, incredibly inky, cockroach stamp onto this A+ test paper and continued stamping it everywhere.
Miss Wildred then looked up from her homework papers that she was grading and took off her tiny, owl-like glasses. She looked directly at Nikhil and raised her thin, gray eyebrows.
"...Class...it seems like as if someone is having fun stamping her paper with..." Miss Wildred got out of old, jet black, leather seat, walked over to Nikhil's desk, looked over at her test paper, and shrieked, "NIKHIL IS STAMPING HER PAPER WITH ROACHES AND BUG STAMPS!!!"
Nikhil just nodded and grinned cheerfully. She then stared at her teacher, who was paused in a stunned position and questioned innocently, "What have I done wrong, Miss Wildred? I always stamp my papers with roaches, bees, and grasshoppers!" Nikhil then stamped her dark yellow bee stamp on the paper and did a wide smile, showing that she was pleased with her own stamping.
The teacher rolled her eyes as she looked at the whole class, which was staring at her. She then shook her head and put back her golden-rimmed owl glasses on. "GET BACK TO WORK, CLASS!!!" she roared in her elderly, usual, screaming voice. Miss Wildred walked back to her seat, sat down, and shuffled her papers just to cool down. I HATE Nikhil so much, Miss Wildred thought to herself. I wish that she would just leave my class, but, what a young at heart girl she is and such a hard, intelligent worker, Miss Wildred added to her thought.
Miss Wildred then shuffled her papers once more and looked at a small, light yellow slip that had the names "Willow De l'Etoiles" and the teacher's most disliked student, Nikhil Coralie, printed in blue, faint ink on it. The elderly teacher then rolled her eyes as she read Nikhil's name on the paper.
"NIKHIL!! WILLOW!!-COME HERE, RIGHT NOW!" boomed the aggravating teacher.
Nikhil cheerfully skipped over to the teacher, not afraid of her roaring voice as she waited for her classmate whom she had never met, Willow De I'Etoiles, to come over to Miss Wildred, as well.
Willow looked up from her book and at the teacher. She could care less what the teacher wanted, but rules were rules. The raven-haired 10th grader got up from her seat and went towards the teacher, her baggy pants looking like a gown almost, and her boots clicking with each step. She put her hand through those black curls with violet streaks, soon stopping at the gray and cold desk of the old teacher.
"What is it you wanted to see me about, Mademoiselle?" Willow asked, her voice low with a hint of her French accent in it.
"I WOULD LIKE YOU AND THAT NIKHIL--" Miss Wildred started as she got closer to the two girls and cleared her throat, "I would like you two girls to go to the office and deliver this note to Mrs. Fonte. Please." The teacher then puffed up her thick, huge, gray hair which was in a bun and looked at both of them.
"We sure will, Miss Wildred! YOU CAN COUNT ON US, ANYTIME!" Nikhil cheerfully stated as she looked at the French girl and then back at Miss Wildred. Nikhil's wide, childish eyes were turning more blank by the moment. Miss Wildred shrieked as she tried to calm herself down and handed the light brown, paper bag to Nikhil.
"Ready to go to the office...Willow?!" Nikhil exclaimed. Nikhil smiled her beautiful, unforgettable smile at Willow.
Willow looked at the young girl. How can she smile, just meeting a stranger? Willow thought, forcing herself to smile. Willow nodded, and began to walk down to the office, her heels clicking down the hall. She stopped and looked back to see Nikhil standing, looking at her.
"Is something wrong, Miss?" Willow asked. She wanted to hurry to the office and back. It wouldn't change a thing, but the task must be done as fast as possible. She stopped herself, waiting for the petite, orange-haired girl.
Nikhil continued smiling as she swiftly shook her head and ran up to where Willow was standing. She held out a hand and said, "I am Nikhil Coralie! I am actually in 9th grade but I am in 10th grade classes for some of my subjects including Geography and Geometry!-You must be that French girl everyone was talking about the other day!! WILLOW!!" Nikhil then looked at the 10th grader, Willow, who was surprisingly more shorter than she was.
The French girl looked at the 9th grader. She shook Nikhil's hand out of politeness. "My name is Willow De l'Etoiles. Yes, I am that French student most of the students talk about. I have heard about you, Nikhil. How nice to have you in my class. Now, we must hurry and deliver the message and then return," Willow said, her voice sounding a bit more friendly.
"Nice to meecha', Willow!" Nikhil replied. Suddenly, Nikhil began making low, moaning noises as her eyes turned blank and the turned back to normal. The golden eyed, orange haired girl shook her head madly a few times and then smiled at Willow as they walked down the halls. The continuous moaning kept going on and on...
Willow stopped and looked at the girl strangely. She had been so lively at first, and now she was moaning as if something made her ill. "Nikhil, are you okay? Do you need to see the nurse?" she asked, a little concerned. She couldn't let a fellow classmate walk around sick. "Do you want me to take the note and deliver it, while you go to the rest room or nurse?" She asked, hoping to get a response soon from the sun-haired freshman.
Nikhil did not reply to Willow's question, but, madly and quickly shook her head side to side as her eyes became more gloomy-looking, she then fell onto the cold, white and black, checkered, tiled floor. Her back bashed into a long, silver locker with making an echoing banging noise. A sudden silence came as Nikhil's eyed closed and she did not move.
Willow looked at the unconscious girl. On no...what could have happened? Willow picked up Nikhil and brought her to the nurse's office. "I am sorry to disturb you, but this girl became unconscious as we were delivering a note," Willow said, becoming more concern and curious as to what happened to her classmate.
The nurse nodded and took Nikhil, making sure to be careful with her, and placed her on a small bed. "Let her rest here for a while, and tell the teacher where she is. You can come back in about an hour to check on da girl," The nurse's rough voice said, causing Willow to have chills run up and down her spine.
The French girl nodded, and left, delivering the note and returning to class. "Mademoiselle," she called. "I am afraid Mademoiselle Nikhil is in the nurse's station. She should be fine within an hour the nurse said." She then awaited further orders, wondering if it would be to take her seat, or deliver another item.
The teacher looked at Willow for a moment, with shock on her face, knowing that Nikhil has morphed into her 2nd personality, and gasped, "I know what has happened, Willow...immediately, run down to the Nurse's office and deliver this note, it is a warning about Nikhil's unconsciousness." Miss Wildred then scribbled down a few sentences on a sea green post-it note and quickly gave it to Willow. "Willow, tell the nurse that this letter is urgent; please don't read this, now, run to the Nurse's office! HURRY! HURRY!!"
All the students watched their teacher yell at Willow with fear and then continued back to their geometry books despite their curiosity.
Willow quickly hurried to the nurse's office. She made sure not to trip herself, and arrived at the station. "Mademoiselle, this note is for you." Willow handed the note to the nurse. She read it over and quickly ran to the bed where Nikhil slept.
Willow watched the nurse leave and began to leave herself. She stopped herself, somewhat curious about the note had said. The raven-haired girl fought the urge to look at the post-it and lost. She was stunned.
It read that Nikhil had a second personality, but it was dangerous. Nikhil's second personality would hurt anyone in her way. How can they happen to someone? she wondered. Willow hid in the room where eye and ear exams were taken and stayed there, now curious as to what would happen.
Nikhil awoke two minutes later. The nurse saw her eyes; they were blank and full of coldness. Nikhil gracefully shut her eyes and quickly opened them. She jumped off the white cot in which she was placed on and scanned the room, for the first person she would see in her second personality would be the one whom she tortured first. As she continued scanning the room, she saw a person in all-white clothes and a black turtleneck. This lady began to run Willow's way and told her to run, but, it really wasn't unusual for Nikhil to get this second personality; it happened 2-4 times a day, most people knew to get out of the way...
Nikhil walked quickly into the room that the Nurse was going to: the eye and ear exams room...
Willow's heart began to race. Right now, a murderous person was after blood, and she might be the first victim. Strange, this would be a good plot for a horror story, Willow thought, but she shook her head, and told herself to save her storylines for another time.
The sophomore heard footsteps come into the same room as she was in. Now, she needed to be brave and face this fear. After a few more steps, Willow elbowed Nikhil in the stomach and ran out to the nurse's station. She ran outside the school, and made sure that the freshman was following her.
Nikhil fell down and automatically got up as if she were a robot. She then ran after Willow, muttering words of sadness in depression in her madwoman-like voice.
Willow saw how Nikhil was following her and become more frightened for her life. She pushed those emotions away and saw a tree up ahead. She climbed onto its branches and hoped Nikhil wouldn't do the same.
Futher up in its branches was a little animal, white and brown, watching the two girls from below. The creature debated if he should interfere, or to watch and let the show go along.
Nikhil began to grab for the intensely long oak tree's trunk and began to climb it until she fell three feet to the ground. She then shook her head slowly and blinked. Nikhil had morphed back to her 1st and original personality that everyone loved so very much and began to remember that she was chasing Willow. Nikhil stared up at the tree and began to climb its extremely long trunk until she reached the long, thick branch where Willow was sitting with a tiny animal on the side of her. Nikhil looked below her; she was about 20 feet above the ground, she smiled as if she were satisfied with her long tree-trunk climbing. She stared at Willow and began to speak...
Willow looked down and saw Nikhil coming towards her. "Stay away," she spat in a low, cruel voice.
Nikhil curiously looked at Willow and began to explain, "Willow...if you didn't know, I have split personalities and I just received my 2nd personality a few months ago that I cannot control. But I can remember every little action I did! I am sorry, please forgive me." Nikhil ended her statement cheerfully as she poked the animal that was next to Willow.
"IS HE YOUR PET?! LET ME TOUCH HIM!" Nikhil exclaimed while putting her hand on top of the animal's head, ready to pat him on the head with her usual hard pattings that tend to annoy and aggravate animals.
Willow nodded in understanding the second personality of the orange-haired freshman and looked at the ferret next to her. She did not even notice he was there. The ferret looked at Willow and then back to Nikhil.
"Hey! No touchie! No 'touchin the merchandise, understand?" the ferret got out, making sure Nikhil would hear and not touch him. In case she ignored, he bared his teeth out.
Nikhil stared at the ferret, not being shocked by him talking, "I knew the talking ferrets on TV were real!", Nikhil giggled absent-mindedly while patting the male ferret on the head, ignoring his pearly-white teeth that were showing in order to defend itself. Nikhil smiled and looked at the ferret, being somewhat serious for once, "Are you really a talking ferret-and hey! Lookie'! You gots' a star on your forehead! Wait a minute...you must be the leader of those ferrets on the TV that talk...wait, no...you can't be!", Nikhil shook her head slowly while keeping her wide eyes locked on the ferret, "It just cannot be! It can't b--"
Her feet slipped off the tree's branch and held her hands onto the branch, with her feet dangling, she looked 20 feet under her and gulped. Nikhil formed tears in her eyes as she looked at Willow and the ferret.
Willow quickly grabbed Nikhil's hand and pulled her up. As soon as Nikhil was on the branch, the ferret looked at the girl that was just saved.
"You were lucky, you know. But then again, calling me a a ferret from TV was mean! My name is Zetes. I am the guardian of Sailor Astraeus, or we know her as that girl," the ferret now called Zetes, pointed to Willow. She, in response, looked a bit shocked, but not much.
"Me, with power? I don't believe it," she muttered.
"It's true! And that girl!" he said, pointing to Nikhil, "She is the one called Sailor Nike! You both are Sailor Graikos Senshi, and you must fight. Your enemies are the Angelus Senshi, and the Romanus Senshi. I can produce proof that you both are senshi, shall I?" Zetes asked, raising an eyebrow and an eye.
Willow turned to Nikhil. "I suggest we should. It is the only way we shall believe this ferret."
Nikhil nodded as the leaned down to the ferret's miniscule height and looked into his round, burgundy-colored eyes and slowly said, "We do want the proof that we are...kwenshi...or...senshlie, or," Nikhil grumbled as she began to scream and made an annoying face, "or...whatever that weird word was!" She and Willow began to wait for this odd ferret, named "Zetes," response. Nikhil fidgeted with her fingers while waiting because she couldn't keep still.
Zetes looked at Nikhil first. "You, whatever you name is, shout out Nike Deus Power, Make Up, and you," he turned to Willow, "shout Astraeus Titan Power, Make Up. Then you both will have all the proof you need." Zetes then jumped down from the tree and waited for the other two to join him.
Willow looked down, keeping those words in her memory and she climbed down. As soon as she climbed down and hide behind the tree, she shouted, "Astraeus Titan Power, Make Up!" Her body tone because dark blue as stars came above her and wrapped her in their glory.
The transformation stopped, with Willow now Sailor Astraeus, wearing a long, midnight blue trench coat, a tight skirt that was just above her knees, and a body suit. Those were the most recognizable.
Zetes looked up at Nikhil. "Come on down and you'll see! Your friend transformed to Sailor Astraeus!"
Nikhil stared at Willow, who was now Sailor Astraeus, and anime sweatdropped. Nikhil then cutely screamed on the top of her lungs cheerfully, "NIKE DEUS POWER, MAKE UP!!!" She transformed and ended her transformation with an spiffy pose; a peace sign. She then viewed her whole outfit and pulled down the wine purple-colored short shorts that she was wearing.
"I hate wearing extremely short..." She pulled down the tight short shorts again. "I HATE WEARING VERY SHORT SHORTS!!" She then started pulling on her short shorts once again even though they kept on returning to their original position which was practically as short as her butt cheeks, but two inches longer. She stared at the ferret, wide eyed.
"How did you know that if we called out those weird phrases you requested us to, that we would change clothing?!" Sailor Nike questioned.
Zetes looked at Nikhil. "Thats because I am Astraeus' guardian, and I am sent to protect and tell you of the transformation as well. Any other questions?" He asked, looking around for something to eat.
Willow looked at her outfit. It felt comfortable, yet strange. She was a senshi? It was a weird feeling she carried with her, but it was nice. And having a ferret as a guardian, it would mean a small pet for Ayanna, and that made Willow happy most of all.
"If Willow is Sailor Astraeus, then I am...Sailor Nike..." Sailor Nike became shocked, for then she thought of her very own dream in Language Arts class that was about her being Sailor Nike.
It was real?!...my dream was real?!?!? Sailor Nike thought to herself as she looked down at her sailor senshi outfit and smiled. This made Sailor Nike feel more special than ever. She quickly felt her very long cape made of peacock feathers and put her hood over her then took it off as if she was testing it. Sailor Nike kept silent for a moment, closing her eyes really hard, imagining herself as a great super hero such as the dark and mysterious Batman, she then opened her eyes and showed her fantastic smile again. She loved the thought of being Sailor Nike, even though her short shorts were waay too short...
"What is our purpose, Zetes?" Sailor Nike wondered as she asked Zetes this important question.
Zetes looked at the two senshi and began, "The purpose is for you two to find and meet the other Graikos senshi and you both must fight against the Romanus senshi and Angelus senshi. It may be a hard and difficult battle, but you two must join in. What do you say?" he pleaded. Willow looked at the girl that was now Sailor Nike.
"Well...I guess the nice thing to do would be to help. What do you say, Nikhil?" Willow said, staying on the side with her guardian.
"It is now Sailor Nike to you, Sailor Astraeus!" Nikhil giggled. She nodded her head many times agreeing to help. She then looked at her outfit that she transformed into and did a very small sigh, "I guess this outfit will have to do...-Zetes! Can you show us how to use our super powers?!"
"Um...It's a b-bit hard to t-tell...b-but," Zetes stuttered, surprised at the new question. He sighed, thinking of what to do. "Just concentrate, clear your mind of everything, and the attack will come into your mind. As soon as it does, call out that name, because that is when the attack is strongest...is that good?"
"...It sounds a bit like a yoga lesson, but I think it might. We shall try later. But, how do we detransform?" she questioned. She didn't want to be in those clothes any longer, she wanted her normal, comfy, baggy clothes.
"To detransform, concentrate on being your old self, and it shall happen!" The ferret perked up.
Sailor Astraeus closed her eyes and concentrated. She thought of being her old, cold self. She began to glow a dark bluish color, and as she did, her fuku disappeared, and she turned back to Willow.
Nikhil, on the other hand, did not want to detransform at all. She wanted to stay as this weird super heroine-chick and think that the world would rely on her to save them from the... Romanus and Angelus Senshi? I wonder who the Romanus and Angelus Senshi are, Nikhil thought, they are probably another senshi team...
Sailor Nike concentrated. She concentrated on making an attack. Many phrases came to her mind and she knew that only one of these phrases was correct. Sailor Nike thought of the word victorious; she then put that a the front of her attack phrase. Then, she started to close her eyes really hard and, looking very annoyed, she concentrated...
Sailor Nike gulped and suddenly opened her eyes and screamed out, "Nike's Victorious Rain, Emerge!!"
Sailor Nike had an urge to dance as soon as she called out that odd phrase, she began swiftly clapping, twirling, and dancing in place. The clouds turned a shiny, wine purple as many little dots fell from the sky; these were not ordinary dots, they were raindrops. Sailor Nike continued looking at them, amazed at what she had done and how "victorious" she was with finding the attack name. Yeah... Nikhil was Sailor Nike, alright. As the golden raindrops fell from the wine purple-colored, fluffy, huge clouds, each of them formed into two white angel wings. These little angel wings turned smaller. Nikhil looked at the front bow of her fuku; the brooch that was shaped like angel wings on her front bow was exactly like the ones from her "victorious rain."
This must be my symbol for me being Sailor Nike, Sailor Nike thought as she turned herself around to see what her attack was doing...it was getting smaller and smaller. This made Sailor Nike softly sigh, for she thought that the angel wings in her attack were getting smaller because she failed.
Then, all the wings began to flicker and glow with gold, lime green, and wine purple glitter and sparks as it wrapped itself around a small bush, which looked so very small from Sailor Nike's view, almost like an emerald-green speck. The small wings surrounding the bush turned into one huge set of angel wings and held the bush tightly inside its wings. The wings suddenly let go as it flew away gracefully, like a cloud and made the bush turn into a pile of purple, pastel-colored glitter on the floor. She looked at the pile of glitter, which was even a more smaller speck from her view than the bush and jumped up and down, making sure not to fall off the tree she was on. Sailor Nike then looked at Zetes with cheerful-looking eyes and smiled at him, waiting for him to say something to her.
Zetes looked at Nike. "Are you gonna detransform soon? You're causing some trouble, and I can't have myself be in trouble. Besides, now is my time for some little sleep. You've shown you're really Sailor Nike now... Detransform or else I will bite you!" he yelled, his tail puffing up. It was such a funny sight that Willow chuckled a bit, and she hardly laughed or even smiled.
Sailor Nike shook her head and looked at him meanly, "No! I will not detransform! Never ever eve-"
"NIKHIL!!! NIKHIL, DAHHHLIINGG...WHERE ARE YOU!?!?!", boomed a voice from down below. It was Nikhil's mother who was always at Nikhil's school, Patrick Henry High School.
Sailor Nike paused and closed her eyes tightly, trying to concentrate on detransforming, which she really didn't want to do, but knew she had to.
"Nikhil! Nikhil, my dear! Come out, come out, wherever you are!!!!!" cried Mrs. Coralie in a voice that trembled with fear. Nikhil was amazed that now she knew that her mother really did have fear inside of her, for her mother was always too proud and bossy but didn't mind it.
In just a snap, Sailor Nike's clothes flew off her like a cloud as in her attack and suddenly, her ordinary clothes were on her. Her ordinary clothes were short shorts (which were the usual short shorts that weren't too short and were cut open at the sides) that were dark blue with white stripes on the sides and her athletic, white, tight tank top. Nikhil stared at her regular clothes as Mrs. Coralie interrupted her "moment."
"NIKHIL!!! GET DOWN FROM THAT TREE AT ONCE!!!" Mrs. Coralie sobbed as she looked up the 20 feet on the dark brown, oak tree and shrieked. Her mother then looked at the huge pile of purple pastel-colored glitter on the floor and yelled again in her proud voice that seemed more cheery than before, "Is this your glitter, missy?!" Mrs. Coralie took a glance at Willow, made a "hmph" sound at her, and then showed her proud-looking face to her. She looked back to her daughter, Nikhil, waiting for a response. Mrs. Coralie did not care if her daughter went out of school nor did she care about the raven-headed girl sitting beside her with the ferret because of Nikhil's intelligence, but was surely worried about where she was standing.
"Yep, mom! That is my glitter! I must of dropped it!-"
"Ooh! I see! After you scoop up this glitter with Fluffy's pooper scooper, we shall go home! It is gettng late!" Mrs. Coralie said loudly and firmlylooking at her expensive gold and silver-colored watch with a golden frog-shaped watch face on it. "It is almost 6:38!" she announced.
Nikhil then balanced herself onto the tree trunk as she paused and looked at Willow. "Will you be taking your new pet...I mean guardian home tonight?!". Nikhil was referring to Zetes.
Willow nodded. "I should. He is my guardian, and I think Ayanna would like to meet him. She would be overjoyed," she smiled as she picked up her partner.
"Whoa whoa whoa!" Zetes shouted. "Is this 'Ayanna' some little kid, 'cuz I 'dun do too well with 'da little kids! I mean, they pull on the tail and ears and pound me and beat me, and it just hurts me head," he sniffled, trying to be as dramatic as possible, and it was working.
"She isn't that bad. Ayanna is a very kind girl, and you say a bad word about her, I won't have second thought about doing not nice!" No one could talk poorly on her sister. Her little sister had such a pure and innocent soul. She never did anything wrong, just the regular mistake here and there, and when she did do a mistake or a bad thing, she apologized and was very sincere about it. Willow could see it in the young girl's eyes.
"Fine...I guess I got no choice," he huffed.
Willow then raised an eyebrow. If the little pet did not want to be with little kids, she would make him want to be with children, especially Ayanna. "Nikhil, did you ask because you wanted to take care of Zetes for one night? If you want you, can," she smirked.
"Huh?!"
Nikhil giggled evilly and nodded, she snatched the smart-aleck ferret and continued down the trunk of the tree. Zetes was being held tightly in one of Nikhil's hand.
"Bye, bye, Willow!" she waved. "At what time tomorrow, should I return him to you?"
"NIKHIL!" screamed Mrs. Coralie as she stomped her feet and jumped up and down on the concrete sidewalk.
"Just a minute, mommy-I am bringing home a pet for tonight!" Nikhil replied cheerfully.
"-A pet?" Mrs. Coralie cooled down. "What sort of pet?" Mrs. Coralie definitely seemed interested in this pet as much as her daughter was.
"A ferret! Not any ordinary ferret, but a talki-Whoops, sorry, mommy, I forgot what I was going to say," Nikhil said absent-mindedly, reminding herself not to tell anyone about the ferret's special ability to talk, but just consider him as a normal, playful, typical ferret.
"Ooh! Ooh! Ooh!-a ferret! Let's bring 'em on home!", the mother cheerfully exclaimed. Mrs. Coralie then looked up in the tree and stared at Willow.
"Is this your ferret?" Mrs. Coralie questioned.
Willow climbed down from the tree and nodded. "Yes he is, but I thought if he met other people and other places, he might be a bit better off. Mademoiselle Nikhil can bring him back tomorrow, since she is in some classes of mine. Then, I am sure he will behave then." Willow thought the plan out perfectly. Let Nikhil take home Zetes. Once Zetes is terrified, he would be glad to have Ayanna play with him. It was tough love, but it had to be done, especially for that comment.
Zetes looked up at the orange-haired girl. He was terrified. He didn't want to go with her, but he had no choice now. Hopefully, the night would go by fast, and he would soon snore away his worries.
"Now, Mademoiselle Nikhil, you shall take care of mon ferret, oui?" Willow asked, smiling a bit. She wondered if the girl knew the idea she had, but if not, she would know soon. "Do you need my number or anything, in case he gets out of hand?"
The mother nodded to the idea of this odd ferret staying with them because of needing to meet other people and going to other places.
Nikhil looked to Willow, smiled, and said, "Yes! I need your phone number!" She winked and looked at Zetes with a satisfied grin on her face; though Nikhil loved animals to death, she did not understand that the animals were not enjoying her loving them, because she was too rough on them and simply "tortured" them. Both Nikhil's mother, Aretha Coralie, and Nikhil waited for Willow to get out pen and paper and write down her phone number just in case anything happened, though Nikhil thought nothing would happen at all and that Zetes would have the most fun in his life.
Willow took out her pen and a piece of scrap paper, and jotted down her phone number. She then gave it to Nikhil and turned around. "I must be going. I shall see you tomorrow, Mademoiselle Nikhil. Please take care of Monsieur Zetes. Au revoir," she said, walking off to her house.
Nikhil quickly ran to Willow and whispered, "Goodbye, Sailor Astraeus" as she skipped back to her mother. They both went home to their white, fancy, three-story mansion. Nikhil ran into her room with holding Zetes by his tail and jumped onto her cherrywood king-sized sleigh-bed. She thought about her day with meeting such a terrific, new...French girl and the ferret. Nikhil looked to the ferret and as she crawled to him she thought, I am Sailor Nike...the senshi of victory...a Graikos senshi. She then imagined herself in her sailor fuku.
"LETS PLAY FERRET VOLLEYBALL!!!" giggled Nikhil as she picked up the ferret.
"And just what is that?!" Zetes yelled. He squirmed out of Nikhil's hands and hid under her bed. How scary, this girl wanted to play some game called volleyball with him, and he knew that involved hitting of some sort. He just wanted to go home and be with Willow and even see Ayanna. Anything was better than this. He began to whimper.
Nikhil pulled Zetes by the tail and giggled, "You'll love this game, silly!"
"Zero serving zero-" she paused, forgetting that the other team consisted of nobody. Nikhil took six of her stuffed animals and placed them in the places that they would be in an actual volleyball game.
Nikhil stared at the stuffed animals and grinned, "ZERO SERVING ZERO!!!" She smashed Zetes into a gigantic, fluffy, baby blue bunny-rabbit plush and continued doing this.
"Nikhil! Time for bed!" exclaimed her mother from the basement, which was where the Coralies did their laundry and kept their colossal library, full of many books with many pages.
Nikhil slammed Zetes, for the last time, into a hot pink, pig plush that was very tiny and had white beans inside of it. She got a bowl of Lucky Charms, continuously sung to Zetes in a very annoying voice, "They're magically delicious," brushed her teeth with her light yellow toothbrush, and hopped into bed, pulling the white- and baby blue flower-patterned covers over Zetes and herself.
"You gots' to go poop before you go to bed?" Nikhil asked as she stared at the ferret, who was squished under the heavy covers.
"No I don't! Such a rude girl! Let's just get to sleep, I 'wanna go home!" Zetes muttered, squeezing himself out from the covers and getting on a pillow. He curled up and went to sleep.
"Okay...night-night silly ferret," whispered Nikhil, ignoring his rude statements about her as always.
Nikhil began to dream...dream of being Sailor Nike...the two words Sailor Nike kept being said in her dream by an echoing, mysterious voice.
...Sailor Nike...Sailor Nike...Sailor Nike...
Back at home, Willow looked at her ceiling. So...she was Sailor Astraeus...what a strange feeling it was. She had a sense of duty with her. Willow began to drift off to the darkness of slumber. My, its been such an awkward day...I deserve some sleep, she reasoned and closed her eyes.
In a field, filled with morning glories, Willow sat. She looked up at the stars, feeling each of their powers glitter down on her. It felt different, and she began to feel energized. She looked at her arm and noticed she was transformed.
"My...what a strange dream," Sailor Astraeus said, as she looked back up at the stars. The dream went arm and arm with the day; both were strange, but yet, it didn't seem to matter anymore...at least...not to Willow or Nikhil.
