Comments: I never seen Gao Gai Gar but I would like, even if it is a childish mecha serie. I founnd this kit when I was browsing E2046.com figures list. It is a very simple GK but the pose is funny, the character cute and I like the uniform. A young girl with a strange haircut, a sailor fuku, loose socks and in a "V" pose, I can't hate it. But when it's a double "V" pose, I just can't resist! The painting process, it was easy and quick, except the fact I took a 6 months break between two paint layers! Because the kit was really simple, I worked a lot on the shading to bring her to life.

This GK received warm comments from the E2046 Community. Keiichi said it was "a terrific result for a hand painted job." Thanks a lot. But as you know, pictures tend to bring get better they are...

This  kit was purchased from E2046.com for 29.50 $ US. I bought the last copy because just after it was Out of Stock. (Usagi: "Lucky! ^_^")

Comments from peers on E2046 Forum: keiichi For a hand-painted model, you do a terrific job. The shading's nicely done too. Loved the eyes. Another great piece of work.
baxojayz Nice again Matt.

This lighting is better in this one, so I can see the nice job on the flesh tones. Blues are great colors, aren't they? You can never do wrong when you paint with blue.

Am I seeing the start of a trend here with this Sailor stuff, Sailor Matlac?

Matrix Great work Mat
Nice shadings, smooth painted.
And I like the extra details you painted in oon the face, good expression.
basturk Nice work.....I like the shadings done on her stockings. Her eyes look great too! Can't wait to see the rest completed........
tfcreate WoW !!!
Great work! You consistantly show that airbrushing is nice, but it will never replace a well practiced hand holding a paint brush.
Nicely done indeed.

vellj001 I like the pose of this figure very much. Such a simple but original kit. Yet again you did a very goood painting job. Just pay attention not to shade to much the knee areas as you did here because the look a bit bruised.

All your upcomming projects seem to be commin out quite well. Can't wait to see them complete.
Ming nice hand painted figure.

how do u create a shading using hand painting? i will like to explore shading with hand painting too.
ddstar As I said before GREAT JOB!! Your shading is most well done. As a hand painter myself I know how hard it can be to achieve such looks, and you are managing just fine. I am excited to see the rest of the models complete. keep it up!
smoon You do magic with brushes, that something that I can't do I like the shadows , great job Matt!!!
