Shigure is the dog of the Souma family. He is by far my favorite of the Jyuunishi. Okay! So I'm a fan girl. -_-; He's the oldest of those cursed by the zodiac. He acts more like younger ones than that of a man of 27. Shigure, despite calm and cute facade, he's kind of conniving. He's a trickster and is not by far man's best friend. He, Hatori and Ayame grew up together, went to school with each other and are best friends. Shigure was the one intially who decided that Tohru should move in and be their housekeeper. He was even gonna pay her! Shigure is full of wisdom and he gives it out to the other Soumas subliminally. Shigure has been referred to as sneaky, but he's just a ladies' man at heart. He really likes to keep people on their toes and mess with their minds. Cases in point; Mii-chan, his editor and Mayuko, Tohru's homeroom teacher,of which he used to date. Shigure likes to evade his editor just to make her worry about deadlines, when he's already had the said novel done for awhile. Mayuko, is a different story. She only appears in the manga but she's a close friend of Kana's, Hatori's ex. But...in a couple efforts to mess with Mayuko, Shigure has proposed to Tohru, seriously,shown up at PTA meetings and made his presence known. He also frequently stops by Mayuko's parents' bookstore to torture her about Hatori, saying he had a new girlfriend named Satsuki*. Mayuko and Shigure only dated for about a month, and never even kissed. I believe that Shigure might be bisexual.. not because of the playing around with Ayame, but because of the androgny between he and Akito. I don't think it's love. I think Shigure is just luring Akito into a trap. I have the strong thing about Shigure and Hatori actually plotting something in secret. One of the Soumas want in on it too. Rin Souma, the horse, is either in love with Shigure, desperately or she wants in on the plot. Shigure makes fun of her calling 'Ren.' xD
