Saki Hanajima is one of Tohru's good friends. Saki is blessed/cursed with the ability to sense electric signals and use them to her advantage. Which is usually scaring the crap outta the Prince Yuki Fan Club girls. xD Hana-chan, which is what Tohru affectionatly calls her, became friends with Tohru in middle school.  She had switched schools because she was labeled a freak and I think she might've hurt some kids with her powers. Tohru and Uo-chan accepted her and became the little trio that you see today. She respected Tohru's mother and loved her like a second mother. Hana-chan comes from a large family but I've only seen her younger brother Megumi who has the ability to put curses on people, or so he says, to scare the Prince Yuki Fan Club girls when they came to spy on Hana-chan to further Operation: Destroy Tohru Honda. Hana-chan is very suspicious of the Soumas and says that black clouds hang over their hearts. Hana-chan is a food critic and is always eating snacks that Tohru makes. Hana-chan is also a slacker, not one for physical activity. She'd rather play rich man poor man that run in gym class. One thing she is able to do is protect Tohru. She has said that Tohru is her one and only weakness.
