Arisa Uotani, or as Tohru refers to her, Uo-chan was in a gang in elementary school. The yankees are a group of girls who wear long skirts and cause all kinds of trouble. Uo-chan was one of them, until she met Tohru and her mother. As you can see from flashbacks, Uo-chan decided to leave the yankees in order to be more like the red butterfly, her idol, Kyoko Honda or Tohru's mother. The 'Yanks' started to beat on her in a way of telling her she couldn't leave, then Kyoko showed up. She fought off all the 'Yanks' and brought Uo-chan home on her back. It was classic. Uo-chan admired Kyoko right up to her death. Uo-chan, Tohru and Saki or Hana-chan are the best of friends. Uo-chan is forever telling the prince Yuki fanclub girls where to go, when they pick on Tohru. She's tall and blonde and still wears the long skirt with her school uniform. She lives in a apt with her father. She works at a conveinence store throughout the anime and manga, where she meets Kureno Souma. He went there shopping for snacks, on his one chance that Akito would let him out. Upon shopping there, he grabbed so many snacks that he dropped them all. Uo-chan saw this and laughed at him. When she saw his face, she instantly started crushing...hard.
