I think of the life we would be living if we were in the past
with a child
and perhaps a farm, or maybe a bar
living and working and loving together
and then I think of the life we will be living
with the oppourtunities
and the education, the chance to travel
living and working and loving together
and I really can't choose

but the times have chosen for me
and I will follow the path set for me

into unknown, uncertain future
