Many dairies inject their cows with a hormone known as recombinant bovine somatotropin (rBST) to make their cows produce more milk. Not only is this bad for the cows, it is bad for the people who consume it as well. Not to mention how NASTY it is!

Organic milk may be more expensive than what you usually get (depending on what vendors you have locally), but it is well worth the lives of you and your family.
If you don�t like the taste of organic milk (this is milk from cows! Not soy!), but are concerned about the calcium you need, try taking a calcium supplement instead.
