Untitled

The sweet fragile scent of the rose engulfs me
As I gaze upon your body.
Your beauty never ceases, even now,
When your soul has vanished
I can still see that glimmer in your eyes
I can still feel your gentle kisses and warm arms.
My heart aches every time I hear your name.
I can't believe you are gone...
I don't want you to disappear...
Your skin so cold, your lips so blue,
All signs that you have left me...
I don't want to listen to them though
You are a part of me, my love,
And through me you will live on forever.
We will meet again in my dreams,
And there we will fulfill all of our desires and wishes.
We will speak to each other, hold each other,
And make our tears fade.
We will be together, always, eternal...
I gaze one last time at your eyes, your glimmer as the coffin shuts.
I place my rose down and watch as the dirt falls, burying you...
Slowly, I turn my back and walk away.
I prefer to remember you the way you were before,
The way you will now live on...
