Like all the other gundams this one is about the control of outer space and the colonies, but with a certain twist to it. Instead of all out war (like in every other gundam) they hold a gundam fighter tournament, and the one fighter able to conquer all the other fighters gains control of all of outer space. These battles are fought on earth, in each diffrent country. Each colonie is named after a country (ex:Neo Japan) and sends down 1 representitive fighter to try and claim all of outer space for there country. The main character "Domon Kasshu" is the gundam fighter of Neo-Japan, a determined martial artist pupil on a mission to kill his brother Kyoji, and win the gundam tournament not for his nation, also to save his father who is currently in crio stasis do to his creation of the Dark Gundam.
Throughout Domon's journy to win every battel until the tournament, Domon encounters many strong fighters from other nations, and forms friendships with a few of them, but with others he finds himself making many new perminant rivals. The hardest battles fought by Domon were against the warriors, Sai Saici of Neo-China, George De Sand of Neo-France, Chibodee Crocket of Neo-America, and Argo Gulskii of Neo-Russia.
Soon into his journy Domon discovers his martial arts teacher "Master Aisia" or as everyone else calls him "Un-defeated of the east" Upon Domon re-uniting with his old teacher, his brother Kyoji and the Dark Gundam soon appears, along with an entire army behind it, as well as an un-known allie of Domon, the gundam fighter of Neo-Germany, Scwhirtz Bruster. As Domon struggels against the army of the Dark Gundam, his master turns on him, only to reveal that he to is part of the dark gundams legion, one of the 4 Kings. Domon then finds himself in a struggle against all odds as all of his allies had been infected by the DG cells of the Dark Gundam, making them 10x as powerfull as before, and corrupting there minds. With no allies left, and surrounded by not only an army of evil gundams, but also under constant assult by his friends, Domon and Rain must save his friends by defeating the Dark Gundam and Master Asia before its to late.
