The Silver Scouts

    Back in the silver millennium, a wise Queen, known as Serenity ruled the vast Kingdom of the Moon, the most powerful kingdom in the Universe. She had two daughters, the eldest named Serena, the heir to the throne. The Moon Kingdom was a peaceful place... until the Negaverse attacked. Queen Serenity used the Imperial Silver Crystal  to trap the Negaverse's queen, Beryl and send her and her subjects to future Earth. She also used it to send her subjects, including her daughters to future Tokyo, on Earth. But one thing went wrong. The youngest princess was accidentally sent to The USA, and that is where our story begins...    

    Carlotta walked home from her school, Brookside Junior High. The van was packed and all ready to go Tokyo. Unlike Carlotta. Her friends... the arcade... the comic book store... would she ever see them again? Nevertheless, she was moving, and that was that.    

     The next day, Carlotta started to walk to school. Crossroads Junior High, to be exact. She hurried in and introduced herself to Ms. Haruna, her new teacher, then sat down. Just then, a girl with twin buns and blonde hair cascading down her back burst into the room. She looked oddly familiar.

     "Sorry I'm late Ms. H!' she said, taking the only empty seat next to Carlotta.

   Later on that day, Serena, the girl with meatball hair, had invited Carlotta to the local arcade. Carlotta was playing the Sailor V game, and scoring top points. "Wow," said Serena, "You play better than Ami! AMI! Oh no, I forgot about the meeting!" She grabbed Carlotta's wrist and ran out of the building.    

    Serena led Carlotta to the Cherry Hill Temple, where nine girls were waiting impatiently.    

    "Sorry I'm late. I... um... forgot..."

    "That's okay, Serena." said a small girl with black hair

    "Shouldn't we start the meeting now? And must I remind you, Serena, that this is a closed session?" said a girl with long black hair in a bun, gesturing to Carlotta. Suddenly there was a scream.

    "C'mon guys let's go check it out!" Serena yelled, starting to run to the scene of the crime. The others followed.

    When she was sure the girls wouldn't see her, Carlotta went too, moving stealthily through the brush.

    The girls got to a clearing. Carlotta watched from her hiding space. She was astounded by what she saw next.

    "Eternal Moon Power!"  

    "Mercury crystal power!"  

    "Mars crystal Power!"  

    "Jupiter crystal Power!"  

    "Venus crystal Power!"  

    "Neptune Power!"  

    "Uranus Power"  

    "Saturn Power!"  

    "Pluto Power!"  

    "Moon Prism Power!"         

   Carlotta couldn't believe her eyes! These were the Sailor Scouts! The scouts continued through the trees, Carlotta tailing close behind.

    They soon came to the park where they saw a girl from school being attacked by a monster. Carlotta wasn't sure, but from there, the girl looked like Sailor Mercury in human form.

   "Hold it right there, Nega monster! I'm Eternal Sailor Moon, the champion of justice, and on behalf of the moon, I shall punish you! Moon Spiral Heartache!"

    Nothing happened. Sailor Moon collapsed onto the floor, staring at her weapon.

    "Tornado Twister!" yelled the monster, throwing a spiraling beam at Sailor Moon.

    "Watch out Sailor Moon!" Carlotta cried leaping in front of Sailor Moon. As the beam hit her, memories started flooding back like a river. Princess Serena... my sister... Sailor Moon... must protect her... Sailor Moon... Sailor Rhapsody... leader of the Silver scouts... Sailor Aqua... Sailor Universe... Sailor Fantasy... Sailor Eternity... Sailor Rhapsody... Shawn... Guardian Knight... Queen Serenity... my mother.

   "That---is---it---Nega Monster!" she yelled as an "R" appeared on her forehead. A locket suddenly appeared in in her hand.

    "Moon Rhapsody Super Make-up!" she yelled, and in a flash, she transformed into Sailor  Rhapsody."I've had it up to here with you! Crescent Rhapsody Destruction!" A beam of light energy came out from Sailor Rhapsody's finger. As it hit the monster, a cloud of dust rose.

    "Totally dusted!" Sailor Moon cheered.

    As the dust cleared, the monster reappeared laughing.the dust cleared, the monster reappeared, laughing.

    "Why don't our attacks work, Sailor Moon? This is getting really creepy..."

    "I don't know... hey, you weren't supposed to follow us! What if you get hurt?"

    "It's a good thing I did Sailor Moon. That monster nearly finished you. And if I get hurt, it'll be my fault. For some reason I feel like I'm responsible for this mess. Crescent Rhapsody Destruction!" Rhapsody cried, trying her attack again. She was so upset, she missed the monster by a few feet.

    Suddenly, Sailor Mars blocked the way between the two Moon soldiers and the monster.

    "You two take Chibi and Saturn to a safe place. We'll take care of this monster!' she said.

    "Right!" they replied with a bit of reluctance. So Sailors Rhapsody and Moon led the two youngest Sailors away from the raging battle that was already taking place.

    They waited in the under brush until they heard no more sounds of struggle. But when they returned to the clearing, they were not surprised to see weak bodies scattered over the ground.

    "Saturn, can you heal them?" asked Sailor Moon in a quavering voice.

    Saturn looked at the scouts in pity.

    "Yes, but they will loose all of their memory. I can't do better than that without killing myself." she replied, a crystal tear forming in her eye.

    "Just do your best, Saturn." said Chibi. The other scouts had already de-transformed, and were lying mangled on the dirt ground. Saturn visited each in turn, loosing energy as she healed them.

    "W-what happened?" asked Mina (Sailor Venus).

    "It's a long story, but what matters most is that you're okay. Saturn, will they ever remember again?" asked Sailor Moon.

    "There is a very slim chance, but they might." Saturn replied, healing Amara (Sailor Uranus).

    "Remember what?" asked Michelle (Sailor Neptune).

    "It's a deep secret. You'll find out soon enough." said Chibi, as Saturn bent down to heal Trista (Sailor Pluto), who was the last girl to be healed.

    "Sailors, we need to talk...pronto, on the double, and in other words, NOW!" said Rhapsody. "At my tree-house in ten minutes, okay?"

    "Right!" Saturn, Moon and Chibi replied in unison.

   "What are we going to do?" asked Serena when they reached the tree house (the four girls had de-transformed).

    "It seems as though they knew they would be injured." said Carlotta.

    "I know why they would save  Sailor Saturn, Sailor Moon and me, but why would they risk their lives to save you too, when you could have helped?" asked Rini (Sailor Chibi Moon).

    "Maybe because when they saw me transform, they regained further memory of the Moon... from before Queen Beryl attacked... remembered me... and that I'm a princess too.. that I'm your aunt, Rini... that I'm Serena's sister." Carlotta replied.

    "Wait a second... you're my sister? And what do you mean by before Beryl attacked?" Serena asked.

    "Well," Carlotta began, "I was visiting my boyfriend, Shawn on Venus when Beryl attacked. I came as soon as I could... Shawn came with me. When we reached the Moon, Queen Serenity was just transporting everyone to Earth, so no one saw us. I miss him so much..."

    "It must be really hard for you." sympathized Serena, remembering how Darien had lost his memory in the last battle...

    "Carlotta, why did you say you had a feeling it was your fault the monster attacked?" asked Saturn, suddenly remembering.

    " I remembered that I felt left out on the Moon because Serena had her group of Sailor Scouts around her all the time. I formed my own elite of five scouts, me being the leader. We were known as the Silver Scouts; Sailor Rhapsody, Sailor Universe, Sailor Fantasy, Sailor Eternity and Sailor Aqua. That girl the monster was attacking... she looked like Aqua." Carlotta explained.

    At that very moment, another piercing scream rang out and the girls transformed. When they reached the source, they saw the same girl as before. She did indeed look like Ami (Sailor Mercury), but she had purple hair.

    "You leave her alone!" yelled Sailor Rhapsody. The monster turned it's head. "Yeah, you heard me, ugly. I said leave her alone. Your kind have already done damage to my friends. And now in the name of the Moon, I will avenge them! I am... Sailor Rhapsody!"

    "I'm Sailor Saturn!"

    "I'm the next Sailor Moon... Sailor Chibi Moon!"

     "You've met my friends and daughter and now it's time to meet me... Sailor Moon, the defender of love and justice! And now-"

    "-We shall punish you!"

     "Very pretty speech, Sailor Brats, but I know you're not as strong as you say you are!"

    "Why don't you say the to my face, Nega Scum? Crescent Rhapsody Destruction!" This time, no beam of light flew from her fingers.

    "Oh no, Sailor Rhapsody! Silence Glaive Surprise!" Saturn yelled at the top of her voice. There was a pause, then a loud explosion hit the monster with a mighty blow, forcing him to drop the "innocent" girl.

    Then out of her pocket, the girl pulled a transformation pen.

    "Mercury-Aqua Power!" she yelled, transforming herself into a necessary Sailor Aqua. "Hold it, Nega creep! I am the elusive Sailor Aqua, and on behalf of Mercury, try this on for size... Aqua Lethal Ice Blast!" and the monster was frozen and unable to move. "You all right, Princess Rhapsody? Finish this sleaze off!"

    "Right Aqua! Ultimate Crescent Rhapsody Eliminate!" the monster was shattered into pieces, courtesy of Sailor Rhapsody's new attack. But out of the corner of her eye, Rhapsody saw Sailor Moon crying over two girls, Rini (Chibi) and Hotaru (Saturn)...

   "Are they okay?" Aqua asked.

    "There fine, but like the others, they won't remember a thing about being a Sailor Scout. Rini might remember me from the future though." Sailor Moon replied tearfully.

    "Where am I? Where's my mommy? Wow! It's Sailor Moon! Except my mommy told me how you look and you don't look a thing like her description. Hey where are the Sailor Scouts?" Rini babbled when she awoke.

    "Slow down, Rini, slow down!" Rhapsody exclaimed.

    "Hey how do you know my name?"

    "We can't tell you Rini. At least not until we find the other three Silver Scouts." explained Aqua.

    "C'mon, you guys." Rhapsody ordered.

    When they were out of ear shot, they began to talk.

    "My theory was correct. The monster attacked because of me... because of the Silver Scouts. It attacked to get rid of Sailor Aqua." said Rhapsody. "Aqua, if I remember correctly, you were able to sense power. Have you noticed any power surges lately?"

    "Yes, a few... three to be exact." she replied.

    "Good, you can point them out to us."

    The next day, Sailor Aqua, who turned out to be a genius named Roxanne, pointed out the three girls who had had large energy boosts.

    "All right, Roxanne you tail the brunette, Serena, the redhead, and I'll take the blonde." whispered Carlotta.    Soon, Roxanne had made friends with Jeramie Anne, the brunette who attended T*A Private School.

    Carlotta, Serena, Roxanne and Jeramie Anne, nicknamed J. A. were walking through the park when all of a sudden, a monster popped up out of no where, grabbed J. A. and began   to suck up her energy!

    "Put her down, or I'll make you!" yelled Carlotta.

    "What are you going to do about it, Kid?" demanded the monster.

    "Plen'y! Moon Rhapsody Power!" the other girls followed her lead.

    "Sailor Aqua!"

    "Sailor Moon!"

    "And I'm Sailor Rhapsody, neo champion of justice and vanquisher of evil like you! So, on behalf of all life, I suggest  you drop her before I get steamed!"

    Unknown to the Sailors, J. A. recognized  them at first sight. She back-flipped out of the monster's hands.

      "Mars Fantasy Power! Listen to me! I am Sailor Fantasy, sworn to defend Moon Princess Rhapsody! So- here goes! Fantasy Solar FLARE! Sailor Rhapsody, finish her off!"

   "Okay! Ultimate Crescent Rhapsody Eliminate!" and the monster was gone.

   "Yeah! We did it!" yelled Sailor Moon.

   "Well, I've sensed more power in the redhead... what was her name... Alison... yes, Alison. We'd better keep an eye on her... but we have to get her to transform before the monster does. Any suggestions?" asked Aqua.

      "We could stage an attack." Fantasy pointed out.

    "Or we could let it slip that we're scouts and risk it."

    "Something will turn up, I'm sure of it."

   The next day was dark and dreary. Serena and Carlotta "sheltered" from the rain at Crown arcade.

    "C'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon!" yelled Serena as she was trying to defeat a monster in the Sailor V game. "Drat! I lost again!"

    "Hey, Serena, the one who gets the least points in the next round buys ice cream!" Carlotta challenged

"You're on!"

    -and so, Serena bought the ice cold snacks.

    While munching away at the cones, the Scouts had no idea what was going on in a less happier place in Outer Space...

   < HESSONITE!!!> an evil master called from the darkness of an evil realm.

    <Yes your highness?>  a woman with black hair replied.

    <Hessonite, I am giving you one more chance.>

    <Yes Milord. The scouts have stood in my way for the last time! I will attack the Crown arcade TODAY!>

    LATER...

    "The storm is letting up... we can go now." said Charlotte.

    "And leave all these arcade games behind!? no way!' Serena replied.

    "We promised Roxanne and Jeramie Anne we'd be there... now MOVE!"

    "Alright, alright I'm coming! You sound just like Rei!" and remembering her old friend, a tear flowed down her face.

    "Don't cry! We'll think of something!"

    Just then, CRASH! a man was thrown through the window! A mysterious laughing was heard.

     Carlotta took out her scout communicator.

    "Silver scouts! Trouble! Crown, A.S.A.P!"

    "'Trouble' is my middle name!" exclaimed Jeramie Anne.

    "I'm ready too!" said Roxanne.

    At that moment, the woman with the black hair appeared in the window. 

   "No Silver Scouts to stop me here!" she cackled.

    Carlotta pulled Serena into a corner. 

   "Transform!!!" she hissed.

   "Right ! Eternal Moon Power!"

    "Moon Rhapsody Power!"

     They came out of the shadows.

    "Hold it right there, Who-ever-you-are! I am Sailor Rhapsody, Defender over all that is good and pure and vanquisher of evil Nega Scum like you!"

    "And I'm Sailor Moon, Sworn protecter of the Earth and all of its people!"

    "Don't think you can beat me you retched Sailor Brats! Without your friends here to help, you're hopeless!"

    "Well their not hopeless anymore!" J.A. and Roxanne zoomed through the door, surounding the enemy.

    "Silver Scouts, you are no match for me! I am Hessonite,  faithful servant of Prince Azurite!"  With that, she rose above them and trapped Sailor Moon and the three Silver Scouts in bubbles.  "You scouts have caused me nothing but greif ever since we, the NegaSystem, tried to take over!" A blast of angry energy coursed through their bodies, injuring them, and sucking up the positive energy that made them so strong. All looked lost for the champions of justice...

    "Eternity Lightning..." began a voice.

    "Universe Nova..." said another.

    "STRIKE!"

    "EXPLODE!"

     Two powerful beams joined together and popped the bubbles which held the captive Sailors.

    "Who IS that?!?! I had all the scouts captured!" Hessonite exclaimed. (She was very much like Zoicite.)

    "Not us! I'm... Sailor Eternity, of Jupiter!"

    "And I'm... Sailor Universe, of Venus!"

    "And now that all the Silver Scouts are together, you might come out of this fight with a couple of boo-boos!" they chorused. The scouts began to battle Hessonite and their attacks soon proved to be useless.

    "It's time!" exclaimed Rhapsody. "Moon Rhapsody Power!"

    "Mercury Aqua Power!"

    "Mars Fantasy Power!"

    "Jupiter Eternity Power!"

    "Venus Universe Power!"

    "Moon Eternal Power!"

    "SILVER PLANET POWER!!!"

    And the evil was defeated.    "Thank you, Sailor Eternity, Universe. Now let's get our Sailors back together!"

" It’s not possible yet." said Aqua, taking the others by surprise.

"Whaddaya mean Aqua?" asked Universe.

"I mean, we don’t have much strength after Silver Planet Power. It’s almost impossible! Besides, remember what Hessonite said? There are still more enemies." And she was right. They fought the NegaSystem generals off one by one until only the most powerful remained- the Prince Azurite himself.

<Hmmm...> he thought, in the darkness of his evil domain. <I guess I’ve underestimated those Sailor girls. They would be powerful allies... and Sailor Rhapsody... so beautiful. I will make her mine, and she shall rule the Universe by my side!>

"Computers have picked up some readings, Rhaps’." said Aqua. The Scouts were searching for an opening to the NegaSystem.

"Where?" asked Rhapsody.

"The OSA-P jewelry store." she replied.

"Right gang! Let’s move!"

They soon arrived at OSA-P.

"Looks like the only way to get into the NegaSystem is by using scout power!" said Aqua. "Mercury Aqua Power!"

"Mars Fantasy Power!"

"Jupiter Eternity Power!"

"Venus Universe Power!"

"Moon Eternal Power!"

"Moon Rhapsody Power!"

"Silver Planet TRANSPORT!"

<Hmmm... those Silver Scouts are smarter than I thought... But not smart enough! Now... how shall I do this...?> The evil Prince pondered for a moment. <I know! But will it work...?>

"Where are we?" asked Sailor Fantasy.

"Some parallel universe. I think." said Aqua.

Unbeknownst to the scouts, a Nega monster slipped stealthily up through the ground. It followed them as they followed the readings Aqua got on her computer. It soon grabbed Universe, and covered her mouth to drown her scream. The evil servant then took her back to its master’s domain. Another one was sent out to capture Eternity. This carried on until only Aqua and Rhapsody were left.

"Aqua! All the others are gone!" screamed Rhapsody. Aqua looked down at her computer.

"I’m getting really strong Nega vibes over there." she said

"Don’t worry. We’ll be ready." replied Rhapsody.

"<Gasp!> The power readings are off the chart! Whatever it is, we can’t fight it!"

"That’s right Sailor Aqua." said the all-too-familiar evil voice. The girls spun around to see a man in a long cape.

"You, who are you?" said Rhapsody.

"I am Prince Azurite, of the NegaSystem."

"Where are my friends? If you have them, you’d better give them back, or face the concequences!"

"Concequences? I don’t believe in concequences."

"Oh yeah, then prepare to suffer! Crescant Rhapsody DESTRU-"

"WAIT! His power is too strong! You can’t beat him!"

"I don’t care! He’s got our friends, and I will fight to get them back! Moon Princess Suprise!" At this new attack, a great and much more powerful beam of light shot at the evil leader.

"Rhaps! I’ve found his weakness! Aim for-" but she was cut off.

"I’ve had enough of you and your annoying computer!" Prince Azurite trapped Sailor Aqua in an energy bubble.

"The- power!- Too- strong! <groan> Be careful, Rhaps! We’ll be there!" and then, the last scout, the last friend Sailor Rhapsody had on Earth, was gone.

"NO! Give them back!"

"I would, but I want something first and only they can stand in my way!"

"What about me, huh? I’m a scout too and I will do anything to protect this planet!"

"You are powerless without your friends. And besides, YOU are what I want. How about it, Moon Princess? You and I will rule the Universe together! Nothing will stop us!"

"Never! I will NOT let you turn this beautiful planet into a desolate wasteland! I will NOT let you rule this universe or any other! I will NOT let you take my friends! And I will NOT let you take ME! On behalf of the Moon, on behalf of the Galaxy, on behalf of the Universe, and on behalf of my friends, I WILL PUNISH YOU!" Suddenly, her locket began to glow. Her uniform turned into ribbons (as if she were detransforming.) ["The Power of Love" starts playing.]The ribbons that were her skirt lengthened. her tiara disappeared to reveal an insignia in the shape of an "R". She was Sailor Rhapsody no more.

"I am Princess Rhapsody, OF THE MOON KINGDOM!" A rod like the Spiral Heart rod appeared in her hand, except this had a crescant moon on the top. She knew what to do.

" MOON KINGDOM! HELP ME DEFEAT THIS EVIL!" The wand started to glow. Spirits of her friends started to form around her.

"Mercury Aqua Power!" yelled Aqua.

"Mars Fantasy Power!" screamed Fantasy.

"Jupiter Eternity Power!" exclaimed Eternity.

"Venus Universe Power!" said Universe.

"Eternal Moon Power!" shouted Moon.

"Moon Rhapsody Power!" cried Rhapsody.

"WE ARE PLANET POWER!!!!" the scouts chorused.

"NO! THIS CANNOT BE! I HAD THEM ALL TRAPPED!" said the prince as his body grew into a black, ghostly shadow and disappereared.

Princess Rhapsody collapsed onto the floor.

‘We did it," she said. "We beat this evil."

A few weeks later, the girls were up in Carlotta’s treehouse.

"We have to find a way to bring the Sailor Scouts back together." said Serena.

" I know! We can have a party!" said Carlotta.

"And what’ll that do, Lame Brain?" everyone thought it was the other and made no comment.

"Why don’t we have these meetings at my house again?" said another voice. At that moment, Carlotta realised the truth.She ran to the slide and slide down yelling,

"Ami, Rei, Lita, Mina, Michelle, Amara, Rini, Hotaru, Trista! You did it! You got your memories back!"

At the end of the slide, she jumped up and ran into Mina’s arms. The other Silver Scouts and Serena followed and soon all, including Michelle, Amara and Trista, were tangled in a many armed hug.

"At last, Earth will be at peace... forever." said Carlotta.

But, alas, "peace forever" does not exist.
