Hotaru first appears when she tries to retreive Chibiusa's hat from blowing away in the wind. By the time Chibiusa reaches her, Hotaru is weezing because she has a very hard time running. Chibiusa asks is she is ok, and Hotaru says that she is. Chibiusa then thanks her, and tells her her name. Hotaru introduces herself as well, and they become friends. After the Deathbusters realize that Hotaru is the proper vessel for their plan to reserct Pharoh 90, Hotaru is forced to swallow Chibiusa's Heart Crystal. Hotaru then becomes Mistress 9. Sailor Moon and the other senshi come to the Deathbuster's hide-out to try to help Hotaru and get back Chibiusa's Heart Crystal. The Inner Senshi soon are beat-up badly by the Deathbuster's minions. Mistress 9 then threatens to strangle Sailor Neptune and Uranus with her hair if Sailor Moon does not give her the Holy Grail. Of course, Sailor Moon gives up the Holy Grail and Mistress 9 attempts to call Pharoh 90. The last safegaurd, the Soldior of Silence, Sailor Saturn, is called forth. Hotaru takes back control of her body and becomes the Soldior of the Silence. (The Sailor Saturn seen in Sailor Moon Super for this one episode is the one with a Heart Crystal as a brooch and peltel-like sleeves.) She tells Sailor Moon that it is up to her to save the world because she alone holds the power to do so. Sailor Saturn holds the end of her Silence Glaive to Sailor Moon's throat, and says goodbye. She jumps into the blast, and destroy's Pharoh 90 with her "Death Ribbon Revolution" attack. (Unfortunatly, we do not see her preform the attackin the anime.) After she preforms the attack, she is reborn as an infant, but her enemy is destroyed. Sailor Moon tries to turn into Super Sailor Moon, but without the Holy Grail, she cannot. The senshi then give her their power, and she transforms. Rushing into the blast after Sailor Saturn, she comes back all beat to hell carrying baby Hotaru. In Sailor Moon Stars, Hotaru returns, fully grown, as Super Sailor Saturn and with the rest of the Outer Senshi at her side. For full episode summeries of Sailor Moon S, go here. |
