The Cats of Sailor Moon
The cats are the Guardians of the Moon family, although for some reason Artemis
watches over Minako... Anyway, here are the basics for those of you who need
them:
Artemis: the white cat that protects Minako/Mina/Sailor Venus
Luna: the purpleish-blackish (yes, I'm making up words again...)
cat that watches over Princess Serenity/Usagi/Serena/Sailor Moon
Diana: the light purple kitten that watches over Small Lady/Chibi-Usa/Rini
/Sailor Chibi Moon
All the cats are capable of speech and have cresecent moon
symbols on their foreheads. They have human forms in the manga,
although Luna's human form is shown on TV only in the S
Movie. Luna and Artemis are not from the moon originally.
They come from the planet Mau, but lived in the Silver
Millenium with Queen Serenity. Diana lives in Crystal Tokyo
with Chibi-Usa, but came back to the past in SuperS, which
surprised Luna and Artemis VERY much (it's hilarious!) since
they had no idea that Diana was their future daughter.
