| Author: Sailor L No way is Serena going to reveal her identity like that! Wishing the construction worker was not there so things would be a lot easier, but having nothing to do about it, Serena heads off to the clearing the note speaks of. It's just a ways to the east, near the fountain in Tokyo's national park. She finds herself amidst a bunch of trees, continuously panting from the strain of getting there fast enough. But then, she stops and realizes something is wrong. There is nobody in the clearing at all, no screams from Lita, no strangers to be suspects, no sounds aside from the occasional rustling of the branches of the nearby trees in the breeze, and water splashing from the fountain. Suddenly, a humongous tree seemingly springs to life beside her, and instantly Serena finds herself struggling to escape the roots that have gnarled and twisted so quickly around her that she is hopelessly pinned against the ground. "EEEEEEKK!!!!" A stranger steps from the shadows of the trees. "Hmmmph. Did you really think it would be THAT easy to save your little friend? I'm unimpressed." "Who are you???" Serena gasps, while attempting to free herself from the roots." "I'll ask the questions here. Where are the rest of your little Sailor friends? I expected them to be here..." "Errrrgh!" Ignoring the mysterious stranger, Serena continues to struggle against the roots, hoping for a chance to escape. They only tighten around her. "Answer me!" Serena stops struggling for a moment to observe her captor. The roots loosen. She is tall, female, holding a dark crystal, and obviously not patient. The roots have loosened much more. This could possibly be a chance to escape. Now what??? Make a quick movement to slip out of the branches and make a run for it Secretively pull out the communicator to signal the other Sailors |
