Ok people, before you start reading the fanfics that are stored in here I really think you should read these notes first, especially the ones concerning the stories' ratings.
Why this isn't an ordinary fanfiction archive
Even though I am a compulsive reader of Serena-Darien fanfics, I have become quite picky. When I first discovered the wonderful world of fanfiction, I read just about any story related to them, but now I go straight to the ones written by my favorite authors, those with an interesting title, or those that have been highly recommended to me.
This archive only contains the works of the authors who have, in my opinion, the ability of writing stories that bring Usagi and Mamoru to life. In other words, unlike the rest of the fanfiction archives you know, I don't accept submissions. If I happen to read your story and like it I'll ask for your permission to post it in here. That's the way it'll always be, either you like it or not. Sorry, but my goal is to create a place where people will find only the best of the best.
On the other hand, if you know about a really good fanfic and/or fanfic author please let me know and I will consider your recommendation. You can also recommend your own fanfics, but if you do so, then please keep in mind that if I don't accept your work it doesn't necessarily mean that it's not good. When I take a decision I do it without asking for someone else's opinion; therefore, even though I might not like your story, someone else might, so don't be discouraged, okie dokie? I consider myself a fair-enough person, which is why I will always try to be as polite and reasonable as possible. What does this mean? It means that even if I think that your work doesn't have the quality I am looking for, I will never tell you that you simply suck, on the contrary, I'll try to give you constructive criticism so that you might be able to improve your writing.
What about the ratings?
Oh yes, that's a very important matter I must explain... but before I do, I have to make sure you know what the letters stand for*:
For me it is very difficult to determine whether a story should be rated G, PG, or PG-13, and therefore, to be safe, I usually make them all PG-13. Although there are some stories in here that could be G or PG, I'll not take my chances. Every single story that does not have a rating under its title should be considered a PG-13 fic.
With R and H ratings it's a completely different issue. In order to prevent people from stumbling upon a fic that might not be suitable for either their age or tastes, I have taken a double precaution. I have placed warnings at the beginning of the pages of those authors who usually write hentais or whose stories deal with adult situations; if an author has written R or H (be it one or all) stories, you will be notified of it so that you'll pay more attention in the ratings' display. I have tried to somewhat personalize each warning depending on the risk of coming across an R/H rated story.
If you don't want to accidentally read a story with which you will feel uncomfortable, then just keep in mind these simple words of warning.
