Steve Sailer is one of a handful of extreme 'scientific racists,' affiliated with VDare, American Renaissance and Gene Expression. Anything he says about African-Americans is going to fit into his racist agenda. UPI it is a Moonie-owned echo of the Washington Times. Journalists don't take that stripped down sorry excuse for a wire service seriously. Lots of far Right sorts work there. As for Sailer, it is probably the only job he can get.

I have mentioned the Moonie connection to Right Wing news and propaganda. The Times leadership has several neo-Confederates, including the infamous Robert Stacy McCain. These old-style racists often collaborate with people like Sailer.

I came upon Steve's site when reading about Pinker, I am just interested in evolutionary psych/cognitive science. I was really thrown by Sailer's site, it was such weird amalgam of bizarre evo-psych speculation and right wing propaganda, and bad film reviews too. Really strange. I check out rightwing blogs everyonce in a while to see if they have any merit at all or what is that drives their views, this is definately one of the weirder ones I've found.

I figured Sailer was just feeding his ego, his site alleges Pinker stole a quote from him for his book, which I just don't buy at all. I guess if he is part of the group he is, though Pinker's views seem completely different. Guess he's might just be curious, don't know. Well, good luck with the site, I think you should definately point out any disinformation by Sailer. Just don't take what he writes as the standard fare for evolutionary psychology/cognitve science, it's a really interesting field that shows all the commonalities between human beings everywhere, not the bigotry this guy is publishing. I think Noam Chomsky is one of the greatest social justice adovocates around, and he was one of the founders of cognitive science, it's a very diverse field of researchers. You should read "Language and Psychology" in the Chomsky Reader for his views on IQ, I think he makes some very good criticisms.

He says that Asian men and black women are genetically and inherently disadvanted in the mating game. He says they are less "desired" by members of the opposite sex and tends to use distorted or misunderstood stats to claim his theories. Most messed up of all is his claim that we AMs have a bridal shortage. This site exposed the fallacies of Sailer's racist and eugenicist theories. You will be surprised to learn that a good portion of the AFs married to WMs are really military brides, mail order brides and international students looking for a green card. You see, the problem with Sailer is that his theories are finite. It leaves no room for change or improvement. He leaves out a major factor: media image and social conditioning. He is the kind of person who wants to play with the heads of young AMs.

He sends his "stuff" to various Asian sites. He tries to essentially "belittle" AMs by making them feel inferior and hopeless about the situation. It brings down people's spirits. But, truth has come to light and his theories are nothing but figments of the imagination. When various AMs tried to correct him on his stats. and theories, he either did not respond or gave shady responses. By the way, his old email account was discontinued a long time ago. This guy writes for a living and he often writes bogus theories laced with outdated racist views.

In a future article on your Steve Sailer Sucks website you may want to cover the following: Steve consistently refers to "races" as being nothing more than a big family when he is peddling his "race is real" garbage.

He particularly likes to discuss the groundbreaking book "Seven Daughters of Eve" when doing so, pointing out that all "white" Europeans can trace their lineage to seven different Eurasian population groups. This part is true and I find no problem with that. But, what Sailer neglects to disclose, willfully I might add, is that the author of the book goes on to point out that all seven tribes of Europe can then be traced to one "mother" in Africa. It seems that when Sailer is promoting the "race is like a big family" garbage, he is willfully excluding part of the family.

The original part of the family - their African mother to be exact. People eat this explanation up in droves, not taking the time to realize that the 7 population groups have their origins in one African woman. This bit of information makes the "family" bigger - making it ONE family, hence, ONE "race." Sailer does nothing to correct this misconception. He is committing fraud through omission.

Steve's asinine racist views regarding black women are whack! He doesn't see the beauty of people other than white. He stated, among other things, that black women are "unattractive" and "unfeminine". He says those are the reason why men of other races don't date/marry us. THAT'S A LIE!!!!

He prefers to ignore his own history regarding his ancestors' exploitation of black and mixed race black women. White men have always have a way with black women. They have relationships with us that resulted in a diverse kaleidoscope of colors, features, etc. In New Orleans, they arranged balls for multiracial and black women to meet their perspective mates. Evidently, he prefer to ignore history to present his divisive racist views on the internet.

His hateful racism against people of color makes even Bill O'Reilly a progressive.

I've read his racist/sexist article, "Is Love Colorblind?", several years ago and I was offended by it ever since. He wrote it from a very narrow American standpoint. In it, he ignored centuries of American history to present his divisive standpoint. It was elite white men who wrote laws banning interracial marriage because it would weaken white privilege and "purity"? Wasn't they who oppose their women marrying men of color, particularly black and Asian men? His article completely erases history to present his obviously biased view. He stated, among many things, that black women are "unfeminine" and Asian men, "unmanly." He's linked with a lot of white supremacists such as Sam Francis and J. Philippe Rushton, who said, among other things, that blacks are less intelligent than whites, who, in turn, are less intelligent than east Asians. I could go on and on.

I read the infamous article on the interracial marriage disparity by Steve Sailer and thought, "Jeez, what a racist assclown." And the article is a tissue of lies, to boot. If Sailer had any kind of brains he'd not *admit* to using Philippe Rushton as a source; Rushton is a blatant racist who is not taken seriously in any scientific circles.

The problem is that Sailer cloaks his racism under a veneer of science. The uninformed might think "it's 'science' so it must be right" and actually believe what Sailer has to say. Unfortunately, racists who might have used "It is the will of God that white people rule" now use "It is Human Nature that whites rule." Science has become our new religion. Just as much justification for racism (and sexism, and rampant capitalism, and so on) goes on now in the name of science as it used to in the name of God. You can pour piss into a champagne bottle but it will still stink.

More reputable sources than Sailer have pointed out that the marrying-out disparity between *Asian-American* men and women is small. You pointed out that white men in the military marry Asian women they meet overseas, and also that they import mail-order brides. White American women don't go for "mail-order husbands" (unless you count a movie I saw on one of the Late Night channels called "I Was A Male War Bride!" starring Cary Grant. He was supposed to be French, I think). In addition, I surmise that American-born women (white or black) might not want to marry a man who was born overseas and may come from a culture that clashes with the woman's. I think that women might put more importance on "is he educated? can he earn a decent living? will his cultural values clash heavily with mine?" than men do.

Sailer also seems to think that it's some kind of biological given that men the world over lust after blonde, long-haired, white women. As an anthropology major, I am here to tell you that is just plain false. Standards of beauty vary greatly from culture to culture, and most people prefer the comfortable and familiar. The Pima Indians find light skin unattractive. There are accounts of the Trobriand Islanders and the Koori of Australia finding Europeans repulsively ugly in appearance. I could go on, but you get the idea. Insofar as men lust after blonde white women, I think it's because she is an icon of the American Dream - if Halle Berry or Jennifer Lopez became representative of the American Dream they'd be much desired by poor men living overseas, or poor men in the American inner cities.

"Race" has zero scientific validity. My Physical Anthropology professor took us on a field trip to the zoo and pointed out that chimpanzees (who all look more or less alike) have greater genetic diversity than humans. We humans are, genetically speaking, a boringly homogenous lot. And there is no such thing as a "pure" race. Love and trading networks have worked their will as long as there have been diverse and distinct "tribes" of Homo sapiens.

In closing, I will recommend a few books that provide a valuable rebuttal to the likes of Sailer and his ridiculous pseudo-Darwinism. They are: Guns, Germs and Steel by Jared Diamond (Diamond wrote in the preface that one of the reasons he wrote the book was to counteract such "science"); The Trouble with Nature by Roger N. Lancaster; and What It Means to be 98% Chimpanzee by Jonathan Marks.

The person that proved asians had the biggest brain was actually white trying to prove white superiorty but after he discovered that asian's brain size was considerely bigger than the white brain (which at first he thought would have the biggest brains of a humans), and the biggest brain overall. But instead of admitting the superiorty of the asian brain he labeled asians as mongoliods, which is a derived from some diease when an infant has an unusually large head due to an extra chromosome.

I want to congratulate you for your work to expose [Steve Sailer's] false claims regarding Asian Men being deprived in the dating and marriage scene.

Steve's theories or observations are old and out dated. They are no longer relevant in today's dating and marriage trends. The 90's was probably the only decade where White men were dating and marrying Asian women at their highest levels. This trend seems to be tapering off, as a new trend is beginning to take hold. I live in New York City, and I'm seeing more and more Asian Men/White Women pairings. I have seen many classifieds where White women and even other non-Asian women are looking for an Asian man. I guess the so called "negative stereotypes" of Asian Men being geeks, studious and dilligent are turning into "sexy stereotypes".

Asian Americans have made progress in this country and will continue to do so... and again, Mr. Sailer's views are outdated. They should not be relevant in the 21st Century, just like the Asian American experience in the 80's are different from today.

I believe he [Steve Sailer] is important as a link between newer style racism and old-fashioned bigotry like one sees from the League of the South and Council of Conservative Citizens.

Yeah, I emailed that fool (Sailer) too. There are many others out there like him trying to play with the minds of young Asian brothers.

For him to say that over 200,000 Asian men are in bachelorhood is speaking without facts.

This so-called disparity has got to be coming from the past military and present mail order brides. Because when I looked at your stats, it is the Chinese Americans who have the lowest overall intermarriage as well as disparity rates with whites. This is because the military and mail order bride was not a tradition among Chinese.

Sad to say is that on many Asian websites, you will occasionally see these same white racists males with the same agenda as Sailer. They try to rub it in our face, when the reality is otherwise. I don't consider marrying poor and desperate mail order brides to be any indicator of love going on between the races. It only shows the ridiculous romantic capabilities of white men and their attempt to exercise their racist influence over helpless starving people. Heck, I can pay a couple thousand dollars to marry some white Russian woman if I wanted but I don't need to because I ain't doomed and incapable like those white men marrying Asian mail order brides are.

I emailed Sailer again yesterday and the fool had nothing credible to say. He only told me to share it (your true findings) with 'single' Asian men on discussion forums. This asshole is pathologically racist. I sense it in his condescending tone of speech. But, we as Asian men should not allow racists like him to transfer their negative energy on to us.
