Is Steve Sailer a Cult Leader?

Cults groups are infamously known to brainwash large groups of people via tactics of threats, guilt, inferiority complexes, lies, manipulation, and mind domination. Cults are centered around a central figure of great charisma and sole power, often based on religious beliefs. Even Steve Sailer is employed by a cult group via the United Press International, owned by the Reverend Sung Myung Moon and his Unification Church whose followers are labeled Moonies. Knowing how Steve Sailer is obsessed in a Nazi style racial research project whose purpose is to preach white superiority, and having a loyal number of followers, the question becomes, is Steve Sailer a cult leader himself?

The definition of a cult from http://la.essortment.com/whatisdefiniti_rjli.htm

1) A totalitarian control over the lifestyle and time of its members - Many cults tend to dictate exactly what its followers should read, eat, how and with whom they should spend their time, and even what they should do in off hours. This totalitarian control is necessary for the leaders to indoctrinate the followers in everything they do, and is also an attempt to separate them from anything not associated with the cult. This is why cults often live together in groups.

2) A charismatic, self-appointed leader with complete authority - Cult members are taught not to question the teachings, practices, or ideas of the leader. Many cult leaders truly are charismatic people, and are able to influence people to believe them. It is common that a cult member is not told everything up front when joining the group, but that they are taught increasingly controlling ideas and teachings as they go. In the case of some of the more well-publicized cults that have come and gone, it is also common that the leader's ideas and demands evolve over time, becoming increasingly controlling and restrictive. One very clear identifying element dealing with the leader of a cult is that the leader will always focus the attention and veneration of the members upon himself or herself. At the heart of a cult usually lies a very self-centered and self-seeking person.

3) A focus on withholding truth from non-members - Many cults teach their followers to be completely open and truthful within the group, while at the same time they are encouraged to be secretive and evasive when questioned by people outside of the group. This is another form of mind control-instilling guilt in the members if they hold anything back within the group. The members are taught that outsiders wouldn't understand or that they would only make fun of the ideas and practices and requirements for living within the group. Only specially-commissioned members are appointed to recruit members from outside. New members are usually encouraged to keep silent or even lie, especially to their families and close friends.

Now, to analyze Steve Sailer's connections to a cult group leader.

1) Well, Steve doesn't hold a totalitarian control over the lifestyles of his members. The closest control he has is a centralized website to recommend what books and websites his followers should read. This is one area out of three where Steve is not defined as a cult leader.

2) A charismatic, arrogant, self-centered, self-appointed leader is what describes Steve. His elegant writing skills reflect his charisma, and his ability to fool others into believing he is an authority figure in race and genetics. He constantly talks about his expertise in race and genetics, when in reality he has no credentials.

3) Fraud, lies, and suppressing the truth is the charade Steve Sailer has built. His pseudo-scientific articles are filled with fallacies, and many have discovered discrepancies and fallacies in his research. Of course, Steve will never post anything on his website that conflicts with his views of white supremacy, so it is the responsibility of xsteve.com to disclose the truth. While most of his follows are primarily white males, some of his followers are of East and South Asian descent. Like a cult leader, Steve will install an inferiority complex to his followers by lies and manipulation, trying to making them believe anyone who is not white is hopelessly inferior, thus causing an illusion of a dependency to Steve Sailer that only he truly understands the needs of his followers. For example:

Asians - Steve will install an illusion that by Asian males are inferior to White and Black males, and Asian males are supposed to lose out in the mating game. He'll lie on U.S. Census stats on interracial marriage, and spread his genetic garbage that Asians are genetically limited to being short.

Blacks and Hispanics - Steve will claim that Blacks and Hispanics, especially darker-skinned ones, are mentally inferior and unsuitable for most forms of employment or higher education.

Steve Sailer is indeed a racist bastard. He falls a few steps short of a cult leader, but comes very close to being one. His deceitful tactics to fool his audience to believe anyone who his not white is hopelessly inferior is indeed reflective of a manipulative cult leader. Like a cult leader, Steve's ability to create an illusion of power is based on a mounting number of lies. But like all cult groups, there comes a time when its deceived followers finally learn the truth and bring down the cult group and its leader.

That time has begun.
