The boundary of Historic Sailboat Bend begins at the F.E.C. Railroad tracks on the east, Broward Boulevard on the north and the New River on the south and west. Its name comes from the most severe bend of the river at the site of the Performing Arts Center. This newsletter is published from advertising revenues and SBCA funds.

The landlord of the Camp Canine building on Broward Blvd. would like to tear down the unused, western half of that building and seek official reaction from the civic association at the October 2004 meeting of the SBCA.
The landlord wants to demolish the western half of the building so that the property can adhere to the city's parking requirement imposed on Camp Canine.
The landlord indicates that it

Earlier this fall, the president of SBCA appointed a Nominating Committee of four to propose a slate of officers and board members to conduct the business of the Association during 2005.  The slate was announced at the October 18 General Meeting, as follows:
