Iflana and her child Aeris had escaped from Shrina. Iflana was badly injured and knew she was coming to her end. In hope of the safety of her child she asked Elmyra, who was standing over her, to take care of Aeris. Since Elmyra had always wished for a child, she took Aeris to be as her own.
After several years, when Aeris was still a young child, Aeris had told her mother that someone close to her had died and was trying to get a hold of her but was forced to return to the planet. Elmyra refused to beleive this. Only 3 days later, Elmyra received a notice of her husbands death. From then on, she knew of the unexplainable powers that Aeris held.
