Chapter six:

A/N: the beginning of this chapter will be in Fujin’s POV, the rest will be by an anonymous narrator ^__^;;

*Fujin’s POV*

~Fujin~

Hmm?

~Fujin, where are you?~

I’m right here, who is this?

~its me, I need you, I need to be with you, where are you?~

Seifer?

~Fuu! It’s me! I lo-~

My eyes shot open before whoever was talking to me completed his sentence, Carbuncle just jumped on my stomach.

“Curby!” T_T;;

Mowning!” he chirped happily.

I groaned and dropped my head back to the pillow, “why did you wake me up?”

“We awe having pan kakez!” he informed me rather excitedly, jumping to the ground and off me.

“Thanks for the information. I’ll be there.” I groaned and rolled to my side, when the door was closed, or rather, slammed, I closed my eyes and tried to remember what the last thing I saw in my dream was.

Seifer, I heard Seifer but it was completely dark. Where were we?

I decided to get up and wash my face, this isn’t going anywhere, I probably spent too much time on thinking who my knight was for too long.

The water was by no means warm, but at least it distracted me from the dream, was Seifer declaring his love for me? I think not…

When I stopped for a moment to look at myself, I couldn’t believe what I was thinking! Wearing a short nightgown, I would probably catch myself a cold… I changed into a pair of white pants but couldn’t decide on a shirt since all of them were Jennifer-Lopez-Cleavage style. Maybe nobody would notice? I have small breasts anyway, nobody would notice. So I pulled on a shirt which cut a bit low, but was working well with my decency.

Yo, yo, yo! So like, the honeys are making the big entrance!” an annoyingly male voice rung in my ears when I stepped into the dining room, I punched Diablos one and made him spill the coffee in his own lap, then sat on my chair.

“Don’t complement her beautiful cleavage, Diablos,” instructed the armed cactus, “she might just hit you again.”

I am not a very happy person in the morning, why must they learn that information the hard way? Cactuar earned a mug of hot chocolate on his head and then I shifted in my seat again. Chocolate covered cactus, sounds like the dish of the day.

maybe we should just eat.” Siren sensed my discomfort and closed the subject, or so I thought, “Fuji, why are you wearing like this?”

I regarded her clothes, and then complemented how her shirt pronounced her own anatomy. “Well, I seem to have mistaken my clothes to yours!”

Siren shrugged, “I don’t mind, you can wear my stuff if you want!”

I frowned, “that’s not what I meant!” I sipped some of my coffee then continued, “Ultimecia  has such a weird set of clothes.”

Cerberus -who was eating on the floor from three different bowls- lifted one of his heads and spoke, “she hasn’t went shopping in, what? Two thousand years or so?”

And I don’t last three weeks without a trip to the mall…I thought, then sighed as the conversation went into many subjects, such as where she bought her clothes and where did she have her hair done.

“Guys,” Shiva cut in smoothly, “let her rest in peace, and let’s eat!”

Diablos nodded approvingly, “yeah, after all, she’s corpse.”

“Not exactly.” Bahamut spoke and we all stared at the entrance where he was standing. He moved and grabbed one *huge* mug and poured some coffee, “She is frozen in time.”

“I thought she was dead!” whined Siren, urging Curby to finish his bowl of oatmeal.

“No, umm…” he gave a strange face, “unfortunately…”

We all gasped, and Siren stood up, “unfortunately? What unfortunately?”

He cleared his throat embarrassedly, “she… awoke…”

“WHAT?” all of us stood up in horror except for Carbuncle who asked innocently, “who is awake? Did I fowget awaking anybuddy?” O_o?

Bahamut shook his head for the child but then spoke to me, “thanks for the lady of mischief, both your sole and her body have awakened, but as long as the capsules are not broken, everything will be okay.” Just as I started to feel terrible, he murmured blaming Gimmy-cat on stealing some keys and leaving the chambers open.

Oh no, Ultimecia is alive and on the loose!… she will posses me! I don’t want to fight anybody. I don’t want to fight Seifer, not have his sword into my heart…

Bahamut must have heard me think, because he huffed his hatred for romance and mushiness, earning a small bolt of electricity from me.

He cringed then joined his brows, “Sorceress, if you keep these negative thoughts about me in your head, you will not be able to touch me when we leave this place.”

My heart leaped, “we can leave? I trust you Bahamut!” I lied, “Let’s get going!”

Suddenly, without warning, Curby peered up at me with wet glassy eyes, “yo don’t wanna stay wid cuwby anymowe?”

*gulp* “no Curby!” I managed to hug him, “I love you! You’ll always be with me when I go back! I’ll summon you whenever I get the chance to!”

The child started crying and pulling on my shirt. Without looking or thinking about it for a second, I mentally electrocuted Diablos and Cactuar, just to be safe.

Bahamut looked down at me emotionlessly, then spoke into my mind. ‘We must leave here, now. It is dangerous here.’

I nodded my understanding and kissed the innocent child on the cheek, then got up to hug the only girls around and whisper my good-byes to them. Diablos and Cactuar were day-dreaming about a naked Ultimecia running around the castle so I kept my distance. Ifrit was no where to be found, so I figured he was summoned somewhere.

Wasn’t he junctioned to Seifer?

I ran behind the loyal dragon and just as we left the indoors and reached the gardens, a wild evil laugh echoed in the distance. Why do villains laugh like this? Bahamut scooped me up in his arms and I could almost hear his heart thudding behind the scales, was he scared? The ultimate summon and most powerful dragon ever to live… was frightened?

His voice was a rumble when he instructed me to hold on firmly and just as I did colors and time shifted around us, pressing the air tight and making it hard to breath. I panted and squinted my eyes to see, just to have my eyes hurt from the powerful rays of light. I felt the dragon stop and roar something in a language I could not understand. Hearing another voice which was completely new, who was there?

When I opened my eyes, I saw a dragon similar to Bahamut, but had dark-blue scales framing his face and sides. It roared and collected energy in its mouth, reddish heat was blown our way as the blue dragon attacked, and just in time for the impact, Bahamut gave it his back to protect me, hurting himself in the process. His groan was heart-breaking and I feared for his life.

“TIAMAT!” my guardian scolded angrily at the opponent, so this is Tiamat? We learned about him at Garden but never had a picture. He looked like a blue, evil copy of Bahamut.

“LEAVE HER, BAHAMUT! SHE BELONGS HERE!”

Bahamut hesitated for an instant, but then darted to the attacker and caused a good amount of damage.

His wound must have been a very bad one, for he had groaned and squeezed me tighter when Tiamat threw another Dark flare at him. Bahamut gave a cry of a wild animal and freed his own mega flare, earning a satisfying pained cry from Tiamat.

I felt myself start to slip from his grasp and knew that his attention was starting to focus on the fight and start to forget me. I needed to hold on tightly.

The two large dragons kept fighting for an eternity in the empty space of shifting elements until a sudden wave of energy waved over our opponent and he gave Bahamut a very rough shove which sent me flying right out of his arms and scream as I fell into the unknown…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 *bystander’s P.O.V*
A small petite body covered in pure white lay unconscious on the white sands of Esther desert. Small specks of white sand stuck into her colorless brows and silvery hair making it itchy. Responding to the simple act of scratching, Fujin realized that she had awakened.
“Where am I?” Fujin whispered to herself and got up to look at the nothingness around. Hoping that she had fallen in the right time and not to a time where Seifer was an old geezer or worst, an infant!
She fought to get up, but realizing that she was too exhausted and spent to even breathe, she dropped back to the ground.
“My head…” she whispered to the wind and rubbed her forehead.
The breeze was soft and soothing as it ruffled her hair, cooling down her skin and making it easier to breathe.
I should get moving… she thought while getting up, I can rest later, I need to know where I am now. Fujin got up and gave a hard gasp when pain struck her in the left side of her body, her arm was probably broken. At least, it felt that way. She grabbed her left arm with her right as if to not move it and cursed the dragon for dropping her, she probably fell right on her arm, and from that distance it was broken for sure.
I need to find Seifer.
She started to walk -or rather stumble- aimlessly, mistrusting her sense of direction. She started to talk to herself, wanting to make time pass by more quickly, “damn gimmy-cat, stole my shoes…” Fujin looked down at her bare feet, “damn gimmy-cat… where on earth am I going to find a shoe-shop around here, where on earth am I?” she stopped to look around and to listen to the wind. “hmm, looks like I’m in some kind of desert.” She spoke to nobody then continued to walk, barely forgetting the numbness in her arm and the tingly feeling of rough warm sand between her toes.
“BAHAMUT!” she screamed to the sky, “YOU’LL REGRET EVER BEING BORN!” she warned and glared at the sky, she then sighed and dropped to the floor, “why did he drop me? Why did he take me out of the palace anyway?” after a second thought, “oh yeah, Ultimecia was released… Ultimecia is released?? Oh my God! She’s alive again!” her eyes widened in horror, “I need to find civilization to warn Leonhart, or anybody, Ultimecia shouldn’t be allowed to squeeze time again…”
Fujin struggled to get up again and suppressed a groan at the pain in her arm, she guessed that she shouldn’t use any healing magic on it when the bone was obviously out of place, she never dared to look at her arm, not wanting to have nightmares about the horrifying sight of the bent bone. She started walking, however, and it felt like an eternity of non-stop steps, how many miles has she crossed? Ten twenty? She didn’t know, and never cared… she wasn’t considered a sober anymore, her body functioning on auto-pilot while her mind was somewhere else, caught between the Sorceresses’ tombs and plans to torture specific dragons.
The sun had decided to mercy her and move away from her head, however, that was the call for a day done, and that was not Fujin’s plan, night had fallen quickly when our albino friend had not reached any means of humanity, maybe this was the world after Ultimecia reigned? No civilization was allowed and there was probably no shelter other that Ultimecia’s castle. Fujin shuddered at the thought of living in that run-down place.
Why would a sorceress with a child and a husband try to destroy the world? Maybe her daughter died and her husband betrayed her??  Fujin started to think. I don’t think so… if I was really her daughter, then I’m not dead. she frowned thoughtfully, this was confusing.
A small pebble was all it took for the tired woman to stumble and fall to ground face first. She never tried to move despite the ache in her legs and the needles poking at her arm. Fujin curled herself into a tight ball, and fought to keep the tears away.
I don’t want to die here… I don’t want to leave Seifer the way I did, and I don’t want to find out that Ultimecia had given me up because she cared about her nails and clothes more than me. She sniffled, I hate you, Ultimecia, and I hate Edea for keeping it a secret from me all this time. I bet it was a sorceress-to-sorceress thingy, ‘keep my secret and I don’t kill you’
Fujin used her good hand to brush away the tears that washed her face and made the sand wet under her cheek, she remembered long ago when she was just a child at Edea’s orphanage, she could remember visually the way the children treated her because of the ‘weird’ way she looked, and the odd way she spoke, a totally foreign language to all of the-
!!!!
 The albino suddenly got up in a sitting position, she knew the language! She spoke the language of which the book was written in! She must have forgotten it when she learned the earthily language of humans when she was dropped to earth…
“Damn,” she lay down again and brushed back her hair. That only proves the theory that she was Ultimecia’s daughter. And it was not helping her stop crying either.
She gasped a few, trying to stop the tears, then she spoke to the emptiness of the dark night, “remember my previous advice about ‘curl up and die’? I think it’s coming true.”
She cracked her eyes a bit to allow the remains of tears to escape, she noticed the soft blurry gleam of the night’s first stars, shimmering softly in yellows and whites in a blanket of purplish black sky.
Fujin brushed away her tears and got up, rubbing softly at her arm to provide warmth to the numbing broken bone. She noticed dizzily that two red stars were unusually close to each other.
Wait a minute, she thought, stars aren’t red!
Just as that thought sank in, the two strange starts blinked.
“AAHH!” she shrieked in start, and stumbled backwards.
mmrghh!” the outline of a moomba stepped closer to her and sniffed at her injured arm, the smell of blood causing its instincts to work.
Fujin squinted in the darkness and sighed, “oh, just a moomba,” she carefully touched the small creature to make sure she wasn’t dreaming. The friendly animal purred and snuggled closer to the human’s warm body, Fujin touched around its neck to be surprised with a cool smooth feeling under her fingers as they touched the soft buttery feeling of a leather collar.
She pulled the tag closer to try to read the neon yellow colors in the pitch-black night. “Ra- gu--”
She frowned, who was this? “Ra… gu??”
Suddenly, the animal chirped, “Lagoona!” it was so sudden, Fujin jerked slightly in surprise.
Raguna? Laguna Loire?” she whispered fearfully as if the old man would hear her.
The little lion nodded and with a huge paw, grabbed her good hand and pulled her into the night. Fujin had no clue to where this little guy was taking her, she had no clue to where her feet were taking her either. Better trust the better judgment of an animal, she thought, they always have a better sense of direction than humans do.
After a small walk around, the place became so dark that Fujin couldn’t make out the neon glow of the Moomba’s tag. She sighed and stopped, this isn’t going anywhere and besides, she was becoming tired.
Mmrrgh!” the moomba whined softly and tugged at the leg of her white pants.
“I’m sorry, little fellow, I wont go on anymore.” She sighed sadly and hung her head, the pain in her arm was becoming less easy to take care of, and the headache she had wasn’t making things better at all.
Mrrr!! Lagoona!” the animal whined more urgently, pulling at her arm more roughly now.
“Stop it!” she shouted angrily, she didn’t want to hear about that old guy now, she wasn’t willing to be dragged into that laboratory which she barely escaped from.
Big red eyes plead at her as the innocent pet silenced at her command and dropped its gaze to the ground, did these creatures understand what humans say? Or do they just understand the tone?
Suddenly, the motherly feelings inside the female peeked and Fujin apologized, gathering the red shadow into her arms- err, arm, “I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to shout at you, I was just frustrated.” She doubted that such a young and small creature would understand such a complicated syllable, “I meant, angry and upset.”
She felt a small nod against her chest and the sudden lurch of the animal in her arms, the moomba jumped out of her embrace and growled angrily.
“What happened? I apologized?” she complained and sat up. Hearing a low, vicious growl from behind her. Uh-oh! this was surly a huge dragon, something that uses fire. She could feel the heat against the back of her neck.
Without turning back or giving the thought more time, she scooped up the small feline and started a wild run. The four-legged creature behind her ran after its prey and was catching up easily. Fujin squeezed her eyes shut and, while still running, cast a scan spell on the unidentified creature that chased them both.
Status: scanning,
           Analyzing,
           Complete.
Name: Chimera.
Lv. 70
HP: 6090
Absorbs: Water, wind.
Bio: a tough four-headed beast, strong against the element of its head, be careful of its ‘counter’ ability.
“Oh, great,” Fujin murmured to herself and turned around suddenly to cast a Fira spell.
The little light that emitted from the spell illuminated the beast, showing the wicked fangs and horribly horned heads, yes heads… how was she ever to recognize the element of the head?
“Okay,” she gasped to regain oxygen, “so maybe using Bahamut’s elemental ball wasn’t useless at all.”  After a second’s concentration, she cast a blizzard. Remembering Bahamut’s advice, ‘Don’t waste your strong spells, it doesn't make a difference.’
The four-headed beast cringed and growled, it was affective!
Fujin felt the adrenaline rise in her blood and she grinned, casting a strong Firaga spell at the slow beast.
The heads shifted and made a roulette-move to change the head. The albino fighter cursed and rubbed her numb arm. She tried a thunder spell, getting a few seconds of light to see beast growl as the weak electricity tickled its bulgy frame.
oopse…” Fujin covered her mouth at the mistake, the look in the beast’s face was not a happy one.
The moomba charged at the attacker and bit at its neck, only to be flung away like a bothersome fly.
A loud roar was heard in the darkness as the enraged beast charged forwards and bit mercilessly at the lady’s neck and shoulders two times. Fujin cried out in pain and stumbled backwards, cursing the blood and tears that mixed against her cheeks and neck, along with the hair that dipped annoyingly into her eyes.
She felt the rage inside her build to a more painful point, feeling the heat of her limit break coil around her all too familiar.
But she didn’t have her Shiruken!
She felt a cold feeling rush into her veins and a single white ball of Holy circled around her body, moving from the bottom until it reached above her head. The young sorceress watched in awe as her sorcery proved useful at last, the white ball vanished in thin air, and in its place, small sparkles of cure exploded at a small range like fairy dust.
Suddenly, Fujin felt the earth start to quake under her bare feet, the moomba, sensing the earth shake as well, jumped to Fujin and clung to her neck.
A distant whistle of a train was heard, and Fujin smiled at the familiarity of it, Doomtrain was coming to help her!
In a flash, a railroad was drawn on the sandy ground and in an instant, an old strong train came ramming the beast and squashing it under the ruthless wheels.
Fujin could have thanked the Guardian force, had Shiva given her any chance to. The Blizzara that poked out of the ground shattered into a thousand pieces as the Ice queen grinned happily at her sorceress friend and executed her ‘Diamond Dust’ attack.
Fujin sighed and opened her mouth to speak, but was startled when a Fireball fell out of the sky, leaving a happy Ifrit to peek through the hot fog. The chimera growled in pain and squirmed as the sudden attacks caught it off guard.
The moomba turned its head to look at something covered in the darkness, for a moment Fujin ignored the beast and looked at where the furry animal was looking, only to find a tanned woman in a small t-shirt and modern jeans sitting on a huge rock and playing on her harp. Siren grinned at Fujin but then winded her eyes when the noticed that she had just healed the beast with her water spell, but effectively silencing it.
Suddenly all the light wore off and Fujin found herself alone with the beast again. Her Guardian forces have done what they could, now it was her turn to finish off the beast.
In a flash, the moomba purred and got off of Fujin’s back to run away behind her.
“Fine, get me into this mess and leave, why don’t ya?” she mumbled in irritation.
A small sound of a pin being pulled out of its grenade was like crystal clear in the silence of the night -other than the loud fiery breath of the Chimera- the grenade was quiet and as it fell harmlessly next to the creature’s leg. Both it and Fujin ignored it and started to look back at each other. Only to be startled by the sound of a loud machine gun shooting rapidly at the four-headed hideous beast.
The grenade gave way to the bullets and exploded, sending colorful reds and yellows to illuminate the bearer of the weapon, who was none other that Laguna Loire himself.
Fujin ignored the remains of the beast’s corpse and walked dizzily to the old man. “t-thank you.” she found herself falling to the ground and clutching her arm, she couldn’t feel it anymore.
His old unprofessional arms held her shoulders and he pulled her upwards so that he can look into her face, “you okay young lady?”
Fujin nodded and felt the urge to tell him about her arm, but things were getting fuzzy and irrational in her head that she started to say whatever came to mind.
“Long walk, been crazy. Got dragged by a moomba and broke an arm, Bahamut dropped me and I found myself in palace with only two women. Dead sorceresses were everywhere and Oh my God it hurt!” she squeezed her eyes shut and clenched her arm desperately, she thought that not feeling her arm was bad, she figured that it was better than having it ache the whole time.
“Man, this is pretty bad,” the old man whispered, “hang on.” He pulled out a pen-sized flash light out of his pocket and held it between his teeth, “oh phhu… dish ish badh!” he pulled her into his arms, “dish will-“ Laguna pulled the flash light out of his mouth and handed it to the moomba who held it obediently. “This will hurt, just take a deep breath!”
Before Fujin could protest, the old man held her elbow and wrist then with a sudden strong pull and twist, repositioned the bone in its right place. A loud pained gasp filled the silent void of the night before a quiet sob was released.
Laguna’s dark hair fell against his cheeks as he pulled the crying girl into his arms and shushed her to sleep.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Fujin shifted in her bed and tiredly pulled at the covers, feeling a small sting at her left arm. She opened her eyes and looked sleepily at it, it was a bit swollen at the elbow and a bruise had set itself at the middle of her arm. She closed her eyes and sighed in exasperation, this will be a long day.

She heard a rustle outside and remembered that Esther’s president had saved life yesterday.

Fujin groggily got up and stepped outside, her feet a little wobbly. The sun was bright in her eyes and she felt the cold air of the morning sneak under her shirt, Making her shiver and sit down close to the camp fire.

mornin’!” chirped a happy male voice.

“Good morning,” she nodded and hugged herself looking for warmth.

“Name’s Laguna.” he held up a fish on a stick next to the fire.

Fujin only nodded and started to stare at the fish, “aren’t these Balamb fish?”

The old man grinned, “Nope, these are Esthar fish!”

“I never knew Esthar had harbors.”

“It doesn't,” he shrugged, “there is an underground river that passes by here and Cellist here,” he pointed to the moomba, “she likes to fish in it, she’s pretty good at it.” He patted the moomba and she purred.

The albino nodded and looked at her arm, “umm, thank you for fixing my arm.”

He waved an arm in the air, “nah, don’t worry about it! The emergency lessons they gave us at the military came handy after all… I couldn’t believe I remembered them!”

Fujin shook her head and touched the small bruise in the middle of the arm, “it doesn't hurt anymore.”

“Yeah,” Laguna perked up, “I’m glad I had a couple of potions with me!”

An awkward moment of silence hung between the two, before Laguna couldn’t stand the silence, “so like, you’re a sorceress?”

Fujin’s head snapped, “yeah, why?”

“Well, for starters, I saw that Guardian-force-attack you did last night, and another thing, you’ve been brought to Esthar, which I am supposed to be the president of, I have to know these stuff.”

“So what are you doing here?” Fujin sat on a rock and allowed the warm creature to cuddle up in her lap.

Laguna chuckled, “I needed to get away for a while without having Kiros jump in my face or Odine annoying me about Ellone’s subject again, I needed a place to breath.”

“Where are we from the city?”

“Dunno,” he shrugged, “been lost for two days, lost the map, I just set camp yesterday ^_^;;”

“O_O;; you’ve been lost for two days?” how did this guy end up saving my life? “Nobody came looking for you?”

“O’ course! Kiros went into frenzy when he knew I escaped the palace,” the old guy poked at the fish, realizing that it was still raw, he continued, “I bet they are as lost as I am!”

“That’s supposed to make me feel better?” Fujin frowned and warmed her fingers at the fire.

“You want to go to the city? I can just as easily call them, they’ll find me.”

“Oh yeah? How?”

“Infra red sensors, they’d fined us wherever we hide!”

Fujin nodded slowly and petted the furry creature in her arms. “How long have I been away?”

Laguna scratched his head, “I’m not sure, a week or two.”

She stifled a groan; Seifer will never want to find her now.

The man with the machine gun pulled the fish stick out of the sand and broke it in half. “Here, eat this,” he gave her half the fish, “you look pale.”

Fujin took a small bite of the rough meat, and then noticed the big pleading eyes that belonged to the hungry moomba in her lap, she gave a small smile and lowered the meal down so that the creature could eat. Cellist purred as she chomped and chewed happily and cuddled closer to the warmth.

After a quiet pause, Fujin sighed ran her fingers through her dirty hair, the sand was starting to become itchy, and her clothes weren’t making it any better. I need a shower, she thought, then caught a glimpse of something unfamiliar in the hands of the old man.

“What’re you doing?” she asked and hugged the moomba closer, looking intently at the small communicator that rested in Laguna’s palm.

Callin’ Kiros. You look on pins and needles to just get back home.” He chuckled at her embarrassed nod and dialed his own office. “Yellow~”

Fujin’s eyes widened in amazement when she was able to hear the yelling of the other man from the faraway other end of the line, Laguna cleaned his ear and spoke into the device again.

“But Kiros!-” he was cut off again when the other man yelled to the top of his lungs, or so it seemed. “If you don’t listen, I’ll never come back!” threatened the old guy cheerfully while winking to the young sorceress in front of him. “Yeah, what was I saying? Okay, now.” He sighed softly then continued, “I need the Regnarok to take me back to Esthar.” He listened for a second then answered, “I dunno, I brought the wrong map, again. Listen, I just want you to get me and my partner to Esthar-”

Fujin watched as the elder man’s face turned red with shock and whatever emotion the other end was triggering. But then her puzzlement was answered when Laguna shouted that she wasn’t his girlfriend.

yeah she’s a girl but what- She aint my lover! Man, I’ll kick you real good when I get back. For God’s sake, Kiros, she’s as old as my son!”

Cellist purred happily when Fujin chuckled and then leaped off the sorceress’s lap and into the man’s.

“Kiros,” the man warned, his cheeks red, “just use the infra red thingy Odine developed! NO that’s NOT her breath, it’s my moomba’s!” he slapped his forehead before giving up, “okay, I give up, its *my* fault you too haven’t got married, and its *my* fault Ward never got the chance to say I love you to any girl, and its *my* fault that- what? NO WAY!! Arrg… I swear, I ran away from *you* two, not the pressure. I’m gonna have a nervous break down, I’m gonna die!” he lied and dropped the receiver into Fujin’s lap and pressed a finger horizontally to his neck and stuck out his tongue to play dead.

The giggling sorceress nodded and spoke to the man who was frantically calling from the other end. “Look at what you’ve done,” she heard a gasp, “he’s rolling on the floor, he is very dead.” Laguna started making silly movements with his hands and she was barely keeping up, “um, he’s having a major leg cramp, umm… I think he’s choking right about now.” She bit her lip to keep from giggling then spoke again, “hmm… I suppose you’re going to need to elect a new president because this one is turning gree-” Laguna shook his head and pointed to her eye,  “blue.” Laguna nodded and crossed his arms proudly.

The other end was unusually silent for a moment and Fujin frowned, meeting Laguna’s confused face, two seconds later, a large dragon-like airship was soaring Esthar’s sky and flying right above them.

“Laguna Loire,” a voice called out the loud speakers, “you under arrest for freakin’ out your buddies.”

Laguna chuckled and got inside the tent, then came out with his machine-gun and back-pack. The Regnarok landed very closely and Kiros stomped out angrily.

“What’s the big Fu-” Kiros was stopped mid-curse when a map was stuffed into his mouth.

“Shh, kids lurking around.” Laguna frowned and pointed to the unhappy sorceress.

mphh, ve shorphrephh!” the tanned man spit out the dirty map and spoke again, more clearly, “my! The Sorceress!”

Fujin nodded and tagged closer to Laguna, who placed a friendly arm around her shoulders and guided her inside.

“So, Kiros, how’d you find us so fast?” he questioned and motioned for the girl to sit down on one of the seats in the waiting room.

Ironic.

This was the same ship that caused this problem from the start! And here she was going back to Esthar on her own free will.

“Easy, we were flying over Odine’s Lab under threat from Ultimecia’s knight, said he’d kill one of the staff members with his gunblade if we didn’t search for his sorceress. It wouldn’t have looked good on your record, so we thought, ‘what the heck, we search for Laguna too.’” Kiros shrugged and then excused himself.

So Seifer was turning the world head over heels for her? She thought happily, then maybe he’s on board the Regnarok!

Laguna yawned and sat next to her, cuddling Cellist in his lap, “so where are you gonna stay?”

Good question, “I don’t know. Maybe Garden will still allow me to stay there.” Fujin hoped.

“If that’s what you want, I can pull strings with Squall to help you do that.” He winked then got up to leave, “come’ere Cellist.” The moomba followed with a purr.

When Laguna reached the door, he stopped for a second to watch on surprise at the frowning face in front of him, he gave a small cheerful smile then squeezed passed the new guy, who was none other than Seifer Almasy himself.

End of chapter six.

A/N: wee~ I’ve written this whole chapter just to get to this point ^__^ just got my pc formatted, its nice and fast :D just hope that sis doesn’t dominate the PC like always… BTW, if none of you noticed, I post my new chapters on my site, but they’re not spell-checked. I don’t usually update the index page, so you gotta go to the fanfic page and see for yourself. But please don’t forget to review! Thankies ^__^
