Chapter four:

Oh my head… if I ever wake up to see that doctor’s scary face ever again, I’ll send the strongest spell I have in store… whatever that was.

I felt cold air hit my face cruelly and tried to avoid it by rolling to my side, away from the wind. How ironic, my element is bothering me.. However, when I rolled to my side, I was met with a hard, cold, scaly object. Tiredly, I opened my eyes and was met with a blurry vision of two greenish-gray emeralds. No wait, they weren’t emeralds, they were eyes!

Unconsciously holding my breath, I stared for a moment at the expressionless face in front of me, then turned to look at my surroundings, I was in mid air!

“SORCERESS,” his loud voice roaring in my ears.

“What?”

“YOU WILL BE SAFE.” the creature, which looked like a giant dragon, assured me with tightening his grip on my body and edging downwards towards the ground.

I couldn’t speak for a long moment because I made the stupidest thing ever and… looked down.

A nauseous feeling came over me when I thought we’d hit the ground and turn to squished meat. The thought made my close my eyes and brace myself for the impact. For some reason, the impact never came! Instead, I felt myself being placed down on the ground, I was still a bit wobbly from the pain of energy drainage and I absently leaned on the large creature.

“REST” he roared and flew away, causing me to fall to the ground as his support was taken away.

“Damn stupid lizard” I cursed and rubbed my forehead, I have a stupid headache and that stupid lizard isn’t making it easier, dropping me in a stupid place where there is probably stupid other lizards… I peered up to acknowledge my surroundings and was taken back by the beautiful scenery.

Under my fingers rested lush green grass which danced beautifully when a single breeze passed by, the soothing sound of tree leaves softly rubbing against each other and the soft running water made it quite easy to forget the headache. The small spring flowers were sprinkled here and there randomly adding to the beautiful silence and beauty. Odd that such a magnificent scenery could be found at the midst of winter! Or is it not winter yet at this part of the planet? Where did the dragon put me? Why here?

Suddenly, I felt an utterly creepy feeling someone was looking at me. I searched around, trying to find any person or animal that might be looking back at me, but nobody was there other than me.

Suddenly, in a flash, a green creature with big purplish eyes bounced out of the lengthy grass and stood in front of me on his hind legs. His big red emerald shining beautifully in the sunlight, making the shadows in his eyes dance.

I was stunned at the surprise, but then the cuteness and innocence of the small fragile animal dismissed the thought of him ever hurting me.

“Hello little one!” I cooed softly, as if to not scare him “you’re so cute!”

hewwow!” oh my God! He just spoke! And he smiled! “wady sowsewess, pwease come wid me!” he chirped happily in a childish way, to my surprise.

“Umm…” I hesitated. I’m dreaming right? Just like last time when this creature -oh yeah! He’s Carbuncle!- was observing me as I slept.

When I didn’t answer, he sent a small paw and grabbed one of my fingers as best as his tiny palm could grasp. I got up and followed him as he passed the forest confidently, half bending down to keep my finger in his hand and also to avoid the long branches.

“We awe hewe!” he chirped happily with a cute tone of voice then let go of my hand and darted to a large double door. Its hinges creaked of old age and slowly opened at the pressure the tiny guardian force applied, it is amazing that a petite animal such as Carbuncle can open such a huge door. “Come on in!” he invited warmly and tugged at my pants.

I followed absently through the dusty threshold and empty hallways, it looked like a scary movie scene, spider webs hung lifelessly in the corners and I could barely make out the color of the brick wall that was completely covered in dust.

“Carbuncle,” I asked while looking around and being careful to not trip “where are we?”

“We awe home!” he assured with a huge mischievous smile, then called loudly, “Shiva! She’s hewe again!”

“Shiva?” I asked, is this another dream?

“Aha! She’s vewy nice an’ she takes cawe o’ me and pways wid me when Bahamut is too busy!” he exclaimed rather proudly then let go of my hand to make a run on four to the wide room that was at the end of the hallway.

I stepped into the room hesitantly, touching the doorframe absently for support, the room was nice and tidy, unlike the hall that was behind me. Golden candles hung beautifully on the big chandelier and were lighting up the whole room with a majestic aura, the many spots of light danced lightly on the marble floor and cast shades of white and yellow on the cute green creature that smiled widely at me.

I crouched down to his level and touched his red emerald softy, then asked, “Why did you bring me here?”

He shuffled his small feet on the shiny floor shyly, and then peered up at me. “Because it’s nice.”

I couldn’t help the smile that had to be provided to the youth, then patted his head. “Thank you Carbuncle, but where are the others?” I asked while looking around.

“We are right here, Sorceress” a feminine voice answered before the blue figure approached through a door. “This is your home now, your highness, please come with me so I can show you your quarters.” The ice summon explained then bowed respectfully to me.

I don’t want to stay here! I want to go back home, to garden!

Maybe I have no other choice until I find that gray dragon again. I needed rest anyway, whatever surge of magic Odin had thrown at me had done a very good job in draining my energy.

I followed the ice woman through a couple hallways, the child guardian tagged along, talking and giggling to himself the whole way. Shiva stopped at a big oak double door and then bowed her head down to me. “Your grace.”

I opened the door and glanced in curiously, the small green summon poked his head in inquisitively as well.

The room was remarkably wide, a huge double bed was placed on the very corner of the room while a small chair and table were at the other corner. There was an interesting glow coming from the glass door and I couldn’t wait to see what’s behind it. Tiny green feet followed me as I slid the doors open and stepped out with me into the bright sunlight. The air was hot and dry like that weather of a summer month, but we were in the middle of winter in Balamb! I wonder where this castle is…

“Shiva...” I turned around to ask, but I didn’t find her behind me, she was hiding in the shade behind the wall, oh yeah, the heat might melt her… I stepped inside again, the sun would probably give me a sun burn anyway. Carbuncle ran inside and started hopping on the bed while I turned towards the ice queen and asked “where is this mansion located?”

Blue eyes shone at me as she spoke, “it is not somewhere, it is nowhere.”

“What do you mean?” I asked, nothing can be nowhere! Except if it was in Raijin’s belongings then I don’t really know…

“This is the magical realm, all magic and guardian forces are residents here, and it is very rare that we are visited by a sorceress.” A smile tugged at blue lips as the ice element spoke, “I hope you find it comfortable here, because you are probably the very first sorceress to be here, consciously and subconsciously.”

I frowned in confusion, “what do you mean?”

“You are not here in your mind only, like usual, but Bahamut had brought your body here and so you are to be kept here for your own safety.”

“Here? I’m gonna stay here? Forever?”

“If you wish to live forever, yes.”

“I don’t want to live forever!” I exclaimed loudly, “let alone here!”

“Shiva?” called a cute voice, interrupting our conversation “what's ‘fowevew?”

“It means it doesn't end, Curby.” The icy woman explained then looked back at me, “my apologies, but it s not we who decide.”

“Then who does?” I barked and frowned, I do not want to stay here! I want to speak with human beings!

Her blue eyes roamed in fear and she spoke “I- I do not know! The ultimate sorceress I suppose!”

“I want to talk to her, where is she?” I demanded.

“She… she is no longer with us! The great Sorceress Hyne had died ages ago!”

“Then I’m the sorceress around here, and I demand that you take me back!”

“We can’t,” Shiva’s cold frame was shaking slightly, do they fear me that much? “Only Bahamut is capable of passing through the pressure of compressed time!”

“Compressed time?” I asked, sitting down next to Carbuncle on the bed. My head ached again.

“Yes,” the ice queen started, “between our world and the human world, there is a powerful barrier of shifting time and space that would easily kill any one of us normal guardians, only the four ultimate warriors are capable of passing the barrier without being harmed.”

It took me a moment to sink in the information, but then I asked, “Who are the four?”

The blue clad lady sighed in relief and continued explaining, “Ultima weapon, Omega weapon, Gilgamesh and Bahamut are the only chosen four who can pass the portal, if any other summon tries to go through without the permission of being called for, he’s dead.”

“What about Odin?”

“The great warrior Odin?” she brushed back a few strands of blue hair, “he had been injured in a battle with Ultemecia’s knight and he is recovering in one of the healing chambers in the bottom floor.”

“No I mean, Doctor Odin.” A sick feeling crawled up my throat at the mere mention of his name.

“Doctor? I never knew there was a ‘Doctor’ Odin!” she exclaimed excitedly.

I sighed and fell back on the soft mattress, Carbuncle sat on my leg and grinned sheepishly at me. I felt a little easiness at his cute smile and I decided to not let this nice opportunity pass me by, since I’ll be resting and all. “Well, Carbuncle, can you show me around?” I asked and touched his childish face.

“Mhmm!” the cute youth nodded and hopped out happily, followed by Shiva and me.

Carbuncle showed me his room, which was located in a wide hallway, it was the first door. He excitedly explained that the rest of the rooms were property of each summon. For example, the room that greeted the morning sun was Ifrit’s, because he loved the warmth of the sun when he awakes. The room which had most windows and was drafty was occupied by my Pandemonium. It’s nice to know that they take good care of him.

“And hewe is Bahamut’s woom!” the tiny child chirped happily, standing in front of a large metallic double door.

“We are not allowed to access that room, please, let us return.” Shiva added softly before taking a single step backward.

“Shiva, why do you speak like a dictionary?” I asked, annoyed, “why don’t you speak normally like everybody else?”

Blue hair cascaded down her forehead when she lowered her gaze to the floor. “My apologies, I am to not underestimate your sorcery.”

“What?” what did that just mean?

Purplish-blue eyes peered innocently at me as the small child spoke, “Shiva says that we awe lowew dan sowsewesses!”

“Lower than the sorceress? Why?” I asked, turning to the ice queen.

“It is decided ever since Hyne had given us a second chance in life, please, this way.” The ice queen nodded to me then turned around to leave.

“Shiva said that Hyne gave a second chance to wive again!”  The small green child smiled, “we wewe so good in life that she made us gawudians to wive fowevew!” the shadows in the youth’s eyes danced as he explained his history, poor child, he must have died so young…

I nodded my understanding then followed the ice summon.

Later on the tour, Carbuncle was so eager to show me around he almost dragged me into the various rooms and halls, getting a scolding from his caretaker, Shiva.

The emerald summon dragged me into the kitchen and introduced me to Siren, their cook and best friend. Even if she wore little, she is a real friendly person, not as stiff as ice.

“Pleased to meet you Sorceress!” the tanned woman nodded then asked excitedly, “I hope I’m not asking much but can I take a walk every once in a while out of the kitchen?”

What kind of question is that? I shrugged at the strange questioned then answered my acceptance. “of course, who said you couldn’t?”

The silent voice looked at the floor embarrassedly and toyed with the small wings on her thighs, “sorceress Ultemecia…”

I shrugged and smiled, “I don’t know about her, but I’m not going to enslave you guys, do what you want, she’s dead.”

All three guardian forces gasped in surprise, “weewy?” Carbuncle grinned, “I hated hew!”

The two other females sighed in relief and sent a quiet thank-you to the God above.

“Wee~ so I can change my clothes?” Siren asked happily and stepped pass me to change her clothes, it must feel quit cold in them…

Shiva shook her head softly then asked. “so what shall we call you, your grace?”

“Fujin, call me Fujin.”

Fuji! Can I go pway outside?” cute Carbuncle asked then ran outside at my nod.

“I suppose you should rest, your highness.”

“Yeah, I guess I should.” I nodded then followed my assistant to my room, I need to think for a long time, If I’m going to spend my life here…

No, I’m not going to spend the rest of my life in this place! I need to go back and fix things, I need to pass my powers and go back to Garden…

…who am I kidding? Nothing will be back like it used to be. Everybody will keep thinking of me as the ‘evil witch’. I just hope Raijin and Seifer are okay, even if Seifer had betrayed me and gave me to the psycho doctor, he said that I needed to learn how to master my powers, I guess it’s the heart that maters. I cant hate him in a short while anyway, I’ve been silently waiting for him to show affection towards me for too long, and now, when he had started turning around to regard me every once in a while, I became a cursed witch! Why is he so unlucky to happen to know every single sorceress that ever lived? Ultemecia, Adel, Edea, Rinoa, Ellone and now, me… maybe he is destined to be a knight. If that’s the case, then I’ll be more than happy to have him as my knight, better off than having him squirming and begging Rinoa or Ellone…

The only problem is, I’m here and he’s there! Or rather, I’m nowhere and he’s somewhere…

“Sorceress, how do I look?” Siren knocked on the door and walked in, dressed in a turtle neck and mini skirt.

“Its Fujin,” I corrected, “and I don’t really care.”

“Aww, c’mon!” she pouted and sat next to me on the bed. “Your knight being mean to you?” she asked, understanding in her eyes.

“No,” I sighed, “he’s nice, it’s just that I’m here and he is there.” I regarded her with a short glance then smiled, “okay, you look nice, better than that short stuff…”

“Thanks!” She grinned widely, “You would not believe the things Ulti made us wear!”

“I think I have a good idea,” I snickered. “Seeing that you and Shiva buy from the same shop.”

Golden hair brushed against Siren’s cheeks when she laughed and affirmed. “Oh yeah, she never gave us a chance to choose!” she nudged me softly then continued, “But you, my dear, have good taste!”

“Thank you,” I shrugged bluntly then dusted my dirty knees. “But I really need to change them, if you know what I mean.”

“Oh, sure, I understand!” she grinned. “Go take a bath, or a shower, I’ll prepare some clothes for you.”

“Thanks, umm…” I looked around, “where is the bathroom?”

She giggled, “It’s that door on the right.”

I nodded and got up, I really need a bath, and some rest, I’ve been through so much.

I peeled off my sticky and dirty clothes then sat down in the bath tub. I don’t remember the last time I’ve actually relaxed in a tub, in my childhood? Last vacation? The only means of hygiene in Garden is a shower, and the shower is normally a cold one…

The water was warm and relaxing and I brushed back the few streaks of silver before thinking about ‘what to become of me’ again.

When I wake up, I’ll tell Bahamut to return me back to my world, where I belong. Maybe that way I’ll be able to contact Seifer or Rinoa, I need to pass my powers, I do not want them any more… then I’ll tell Cid that I’m not a sorceress anymore and I want to live at Garden again. He’s a softie, he’ll never say no.

There was a soft knock on the door, but before I even got a chance to respond, Siren walked in with a heap of clothes in her hands.

“Siren!” I shrieked in embarrassment, “What are you doing here?”

“What?” she asked with a confused face, “we’re both girls, it doesn't matter!” she dumped the clothing on the marble towel shelf, “besides,” she added, “its not like I’m Diablos or Cactuar, they were junctioned for that cowboy guy for so long, it started to show in their attitude!” her brows pulled up in amusement. “Oh, dear, you look so red!”

I absently touched my cheek and realized that my skin was steaming -literally speaking- then I peered up at her, to the towel, then back to her again.

“I’ll give you your towel, sweetie, don’t worry.” She smiled sweetly then tossed me a purple and pink fluffy towel. “Don’t mind the color, “she called over her shoulder, “Ulti’s taste sucks.” With that, she left.

I stifled a giggle then wrapped the towel around my body, the air felt suddenly chilly when I stepped out of the bathtub.

I wonder what Seifer is doing now.

I sighed and unwrinkled the clothes Siren gave me, a white T-shirt with white jeans, and white underclothes, Along with a white elastic band.

I’d look like a ghost with these things on! But who cares? It’s cold enough to ignore that fact!

I pulled on my clothes then stepped out into my room, there I found Shiva, Siren, and Bahamut were gathered in a small ring and were speaking in a hush tone.

“What do we do?”

“I do not know, Siren, but what ever the reason, we should not tell her!”

“Yeah, wouldn’t work to make her leave before we-” Bahamut stopped speaking when he noticed me, and then straightened up.

That’s funny; I never knew Bahamut could speak normally!

“Tell me what?” I questioned and shifted my weight to the other leg.

“N-nothing!” Siren grinned foolishly, obviously not a good liar.

“Yeah right, I heard you speaking, so tell me now” I demanded and stepped closer to them, the women seemed uneasy while on the other hand, Bahamut was quiet and collected. “Tell me, Bahamut, what were you talking about?”

“Erm…” his scaly brows joined and he considered for a moment. “your- your knight is here.”

Something churned happily in my chest and I felt heat spill into my cheeks, “Really? How did he find me? Where is he?”

Shiva stepped forward and spoke, “you must understand something, every day you spend here is a whole week back at the human realm, and since you are here, and your knight is there, you cannot see, touch or hear each other.”

The small happy feeling in my stomach suddenly turned into a nauseous feeling crawling up my ribcage and burning up the insides of it. “Why?” it was the only question that was racing in my head.

Bahamut nodded, “it is decided that way, if you would like to see him, or his transparent silhouette anyway, come.”

I fought the tears and settled for his figure, at least I’ll be able to see him, even if he never saw me… it was this way a few years back, its no big deal right?

…….

Of course it is! I need him now; I need him to be by my side at this scary time…

I almost stumbled on the rugs and various articles of furniture on my way to the Garden. Bahamut was leading the way and the two female summon were following us.

I stopped when I saw Seifer’s form crossing the garden in several long strides, he is elegant even as he walks… he was walking straight my way, and when I thought we’d crash into each other, he just passed right through me!

I forced back the sobs and turned around to look at him, he stopped suddenly and looked back at me, his eyes seeing pass me, to another point only he can see. Did he feel me?

“Seifer,” I called quietly, hoping against hope that he’d hear me. “Seifer!” I urged more loudly, but to get no response.

“He can’t hear you, ever.” Siren looked sad when she spoke the words; I nodded solemnly and touched his face, feeling nothing but air under my fingers.

Seifer surprised me when he lifted his gloved hand in the air and for a moment, I thought that he’d touch my face, but his fingers curled up to catch an invisible object from the air.

“Snow.” Declared the huge dragon, “its snowing where he is.”

I nodded my understanding and put my hand down; he won’t feel me no matter how hard I try. I watched my knight speak, I could see his mouth move, but I cannot hear the words, it’s sad, I can’t even hear him, someone needs to change the rules around here…

Seifer looked around for a moment then continued his way, passing through the walls like they meant nothing to him, and frankly, they didn’t.

“Don’t be sad.” The silent voice rushed to my side comfortingly, “when you’re well enough, Bahamut here will take you back to him!”

I pulled on a strict face and turned towards the dragon. “Take me to him, now.” I ordered.

Bahamut silenced for a moment, then looked down at me through the corner of his eye, a look of a king to his servant, “you are not well enough.”

“I’m perfectly fine!” I snapped, unable to take the pressure anymore, “take me back, now! I never ordered to be here in the first place!”

“You are not well enough.” He repeated then turned around and started walking away.

“Wait!” I shouted and brushed passed the two ladies, I stepped in front of the dragon and he stopped. “How much longer should I wait?”

Brilliant green orbs scanned me for a moment before the guardian force spoke, “when you master your powers.”

He was about to continue on his way but I called out to him again, “when is that?”

“It is up to you.” with that, he flew away.

I frowned and stifled the hiccups that were threatening to show, I felt my vision blur as I wondered when this will end… is it already too late? What was he looking for?

“Shiva?” I questioned, very, very quietly as if to not release the sobs.

“Your grace.” she stepped over to my side.

I nodded and continued, “What is the time difference between here and there?”

She sighed softly then explained, “Every sundown here is a whole week there.”

I inhaled sharply but slowly. Oh my god, I shouldn’t be here, I should be there with him!

Fuji,” Siren called me softly, like a sister, what a sweet heart. “Maybe, if you were really, really good with your magic, Bahamut could take you to your world like, real fast!”

“I don’t want to be a sorceress!” I shouted, holding my head, “I just want everything to be back like it used to be!” I turned around to the girls and wiped salty tears from my cheeks, “I don’t want this! I just want to be with him!”

A hard look washed over the ice queen’s face before she scolded me, “Get yourself together.”

Siren stepped over to me and hugged me, “Oh Shiva, don’t be so hard!” I sobbed quietly as she defended me and brushed back my hair. “I know how you feel,” she whispered, “I’ve been in love too, you know.”

Oh my god…

…..

I love him!

“She shouldn’t cry over him,” Her voice was like the ice she was made of, she stood next to me, “you shouldn’t cry over an earthly creature.”

“Creature?” I shrieked, moving away from Siren’s embrace and frowning at Shiva, “Creature?” I angrily ran my sleeve over my cheeks and invaded her personal space as I glared, “I happen to be one of them, in case you haven’t noticed; I lived with them my whole life. Don’t you come into my life and tell me to forget them and not cry over them, especially him.” Fear and regret shone in her eyes as she stepped back, but I wasn’t finished, “how would you feel if you were forced to carry something that everybody will hate you for? How would you feel if the whole world came running after you with axes and swords? How would you feel if you saw your very future passes you by and you haven’t got a single chance to determine it?”

I breathed for a moment as the anger wave thinned out, and I could see her eyes gleaming in hurt, she averted her gaze and nodded brokenly. I felt Siren’s warm hand touch my shoulder and then heard her whisper in my ear, “that’s enough, she didn’t mean…”

“I’m s-sorry, your g-grace, I-I didn’t mean t-to-” Shiva stuttered and reached her hand absently to touch me. I held her hand comfortingly, feeling sorry too, it want her fault. “Forgive me,” she whispered, and for my surprise, her hand was not icy and cold, it was as warm as a human, but with a little bit coldness from the stocked ice magic within her.

For a long moment, Siren, Shiva and I, just stood there, the silent understanding passing between us like a breeze. It was almost like home at that moment, when three sisters held each other for comfort, but here I am standing here while time passed me by, I need to go back quickly, or I will miss my chance at love, love? Does he even love me?

I’ll never know unless I ask him.

I sighed and broke up the sisterly atmosphere, “I need to ask Bahamut,” I explained then headed into the castle again.

I used my sleeves to dry my face as I headed to where the bedrooms were, or at least, where I think the bedrooms were.

“Lady Sorceress.” A manly voice called and I turned around to see a black dragon streaked in red stripes, demon tail and horns adorned his head.

“Fujin, please.” I shook my head, “what is it?”

“Huh?” he corked a red eyebrow, “so, like, no formalities?”

“No.”

yehaw~!” he shouted happily then dared to wrap an arm around me, he was pretty big and masculine compared to my small body.

“Get your hands-” I started, but then he cut in happily.

“So like, baby, who ya lookin’ for here?” he winked.

“Get a breath mint.” I frowned and escaped his embrace.

“Eh,” he scratched his neck, “there aren’t tooth brushes big enough for me, yah?”

I ignored him and scanned the big doors. “What’s behind these doors?”

He grinned and placed a large hand on my shoulder, “the name’s Diablos, and behind these doors are the healing chambers.”

Hmm, must have taken a wrong turn somewhere… I thought, but then remembered Shiva saying something about these chambers. “Is there anybody in there?” I asked and touched the cool metal of the door.

“There are around ten healing chambers here,” he started and stood in front of a huge door that was radiating blue light, “only three are occupied right now, Odine, the great warrior, is here.” He touched the door and I nodded my understanding. “Ultemecia’s pets, Ultima and Omega weapons, are occupying the other two rooms, they are barely alive, though, we think we should just quit on them.”

“Can I see Odine?” I asked, not at all interested about the life or death of the other two ugly creatures, Odine might be my ticket out.

“I don’t know…” his long sharp nails scratched his chin then he shrugged, “I don’t think he’d like that.”

Hmm, if he’s junctioned to that perverted cowboy guy, then maybe... “Aww, please!” I pouted sadly and batted my eyelashes, hating every second of it.

White deadly teeth shone as he grinned widely, “I don’t think he’d mind a visit every year or so…”

He opened the door quietly and I was taken aback by the beautiful mysterious aura that filled the place, the place was cool and foggy, like a freezer *if you ever had the chance to get inside one* but it was not deadly cold, it was the same temperature of a Curaga spell.

A human-like body lay motionless on a bed, covered only in a thin layer of white bed sheets. The white fog was directed towards him, sliding off the bronze skin like silk.

“Odine,” I called softly, and Diablos jerked around to me, wasn’t he expecting me to speak?

“Shh,” Diablos cooed softly, but the legendary warrior shifted quietly.

“Who is there?” Odine’s voice was very human as he spoke, had it not been to the horns on his head, I would have sworn that he and I are the same. “Sorceress.” He turned to the general direction towards me, his eyes plain white.

“Yes, I’m the sorceress,” I leaned closer so he could hear me.

“Your knight,” he started, surprising me, “is looking for you.”

I gasped quietly, “really?”

“He is a strong warrior but a troubled soul; guide him to his heaven before he drags you both into his hell.” Odine’s brows joined briefly before he closed his eyes and went back to sleep.

I sighed and turned around to leave, a single strong hand touched my arm and I saw Diablos smiling softly, “remember that, Odine is never wrong.”

I nodded and walked out; trying to imprint the quote into my head, but it was slipping away into oblivion before I could even reached my room, and by the time I found a piece of paper and a pen, I forgot what it was that Odine had told me… it seemed like he was asleep all the time, I cant remember anything other than his plain white eyes and his peaceful face as he slept.

God help me…
