A Song
of Love
A wedding service seldom says
What two people really mean Locked inside their
hearts
Lie thoughts and moods unseen
It is not just a formal thing
To tell the world their state
It is not just a paper signed
That later may bring love or hate
Do I really love you?
Let me count the ways
Mixed moods held deep inside
Colors lifting up my days
More than just a wife to wed
Melting together is my plan
Not a woman to fill a gap
That lasts for a short span
These words only begin to say
What is in my heart for you
Yet to say you are everything
Would be saying green is blue
Only God is everything ... complete
All you need do is love me ..
sweet
Expecting more or less is wrong
So you won't hear this in my song
"Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but
because it sees more it is willing to see less."
