Bitter And Relieving End
01.23.2002
If there is an award for stupidity,
Hand it right over to me.
Jeez, what a naive person I was,
Mr. Womanizer looked through me like glass.
I fell for the perfect player and his charm,
Who knows how many others he got cooking.
And he is still out there, looking.
When I think about it clearly,
I was in love with him dearly.
He made me believe each single word he said,
And even when he avoided me,
I wasn't mad.
His favorite words were:
We have to be patient.
He called me Bookie.
And I acted like a rookie.
One day he just stopped reading my mail,
He never contacted me again.
And I was in so much pain.
I called him on the phone.
Again he talked so smooth,
Promises, promises.
He said, he loves me so much.
Again he opened my heart,
With his gentle touch
Of words, which were all a big lie.
I am glad he could not make me cry.
Right from the beginning,
He was a pretender.
He is a poor example of his gender.
LOL, when I think back,
I had my fun.
He made me feel good,
The time just flew by.
No need to regret,
No need to sigh.
The time I invested
Was paid very well.
Darryl was free of charge.
And he can go to hell |
