Shondra Suzanne Paulson is 21 years old and grew up in Portland Oregon with her mom, dad, brother, and her Chow Chow "Teddy bear". She can't remember when she started singing, it is just something she always did. Shondra started with Madonna and then began to sing solos in her grade-school musicals. Then she made her way to choir in middle school and in high school she started taking voice lessons. Shondra has appeared in "Grease", "Brigadoon", and "You cant take it with you" and Harvard's Lowell House Opera production of "Carmen". She was also a featured soloist in several choir concerts. After graduating highschool she went to Spoleto, Italy for three weeks to sing with the Spoleto Vocal Arts Symposium where she performed in several concerts including a Broadway/Americana concert that was attended by 800 some odd people. Shondra hopes to go to Europe for a year to explore her options. After that Shondra would like to either do a young artists program or go to graduate school in Europe for a masters in opera. Her goal in life is to perform and travel all over the world and to meet as many different people and experience as many different things as she can. Shondra graduated from the Boston Conservatory in May, 2005 with a bachelors in voice performance. |
