| Shanna was born on July 18, 1984 in Englewood, Colorado to Bruce and Joane Heverly. When she was four years old she moved to NJ where she currently resides, besides the BoCo of course. She started dancing at the age of four, but alongside that developed a love for singing, acting, and directing aka bossing her cousins around in plays run by herself. When she was twelve she tried out musical theater and played the role of "Royal Child" in The King & I. From there she joined the NJ Youth Ballet where she performed soloist lead roles in The Nutcracher, Peter and the Wolf, Swan Lake, and Pinnochio. Alongside that she has played "Zaneeta" in The Music Man, and "Marty" in Grease to name a couple of her favorites. When she was 18 years old, she had the privilege to be a soloist dancer in the PBS special for 9/11 Hymns of Hope and Healing. At the BoCo she has performed in Bernstein's Mass, Murray Louis' piece Brubeck Pieces, and Index. Shanna hopes to dance professionally in a ballet company as well as Broadway. She is currently a junior and serves as Corresponding Secretary for EZ. | ||||||||
