| Katherine Willow graduated from The Boston Conservatory with a bachelor's
degree in harp performance and is currently working toward her masters
degree in music education. After graduation, she plans either to conduct
middle or high school band or to furthur her education in music cognition.
Outside of TBC, Katherine enjoys playing for cancer patients at
Massachusetts General Hospital, providing meditative music in theraputic
settings as chemotherapy/infusion treatments and radiation treatments are
administered. Before attending the Conservatory, Katherine served as the
principal harpist for the Chautauqua Regional Youth Symphony, NYS Area
All-State Symphonic Orchestra, NYS Conference All-State Symphonic Band, NYS Conference All-State Wind Ensemble, All-Eastern Symphonic Orchestra, and All-Eastern Symphonic Band. |
