Barry is a combination of older German/American lines. He is a moderate dog in height,but is broad and large boned. He is unusual because he is a very striking black/silver in the sable pattern. He carries the solid black gene and is OFA. He loves to carry things and retrieve,and produces retrieving ability. He is a gental animal,easygoing and willing to please. He has produced show dogs,excellent family and loyal family protection dogs,search and rescue dogs,service dogs and obedience workers. He is moderate in rear angulation,has good shoulder,and is clean coming and going,and also produces good shoulder and clean coming and going. He has good ears, but can produce some ear softness if paired with a female who does not produce ear strength.
