Appeal from interim orders of singe judge is maintainable. [ 1992(2) KLT 358 (FB) ]
Any person can file appeal by obtaining the leave of the court. Such application is numbered as C.M.P.No…………. of year in unnumbered W.A.NO…………OF YEAR. After granting leave the appeal will be numbered.

No appeal lies against a single judge's judgment passed in exercise of jurisdiction under Art.227 of the Constitution

A petition under Art.228 of the Constitution for withdrawing a proceeding from a lower court to the file of the High Court is an original proceeding falling within Sec.5 of the Act.

An appeal to the Division Bench is not maintainable against the decision of single judge disposing of a C.M.A. [ 1981 KLT 260]

Order disposing of application under Sec.23(3) CPC is appealable.
An appeal from the decision of a Single judge of the High Court on a criminal matter will not lie before a Bench of two judges.

It is open to the High Court to grant interim orders of stay pending the disposal of the petition to condone delay. 1993(2) KLT 72
