Environment (Protection) Act, Sec. 3 – No sanction from the High Court is necessary to take action against culprits.

 Officer under the Act noticing dumping of hazardous waste. He seeking directions from High Court to erring industries for abatement of such activities. It is entirely for Board to find out who are the culprits and take determined and speedy action under law as they are required to take.
