| My Politics | Most people would call me a liberal. But like all liberals, I think of myself as an independent. I'm fiscally conservative. I don't like being in debt, and I don't think our country should be either. To keep my own expenses under control, I am very happy to accept any offers of beach vacations, travelling abroad, or a rum and coke. You will be rewarded. In my memoirs, or ? it's negotiable. Some things happen which we can't control that might put us in debt. Invading other countries for their oil or to impose 'freedom' and American values is wrong and costly. Oh, yeah, tends to kill you too. Having watched some of my friends mount up huge debts to get through college, to see my cousins getting screwed out of a decent high school education and extra curricular activities cut, I always support candidates who really support education funding, even if they're not the cutest. I nag people to vote. One vote does make a difference. and you heard it from me! and i'm a pessimistical optomist. |
| Sex and Mor(e Re)ality | Well, obviously I'm not shy about my body or my emotions. I am cautious. I know I can take teasing or flaunting too far. But I like to test where the line is, So if you get pissed off easily or are easily hurt, goodbye. I do kiss on the first date, but not much else until I know which side your bread is buttered on. What is my type? I'll try anything, i mean male, ideally 5'10 - 6'4, brownish hair not too short, hazel eyes (any eyes will do, I love eyes, deep deep eyes) athletic but not a jock, i like to run, hike, play if you can sing or play an instrument, that's a plus. If you're patient but not a doormat, i'll love you forever. Most of the world isn't properly patient. I know i'm not. I'm very liberal, and believe if it isn't hurting anyone, people should be able to do whatever they want with whomever they want. Preferably not in the middle of the mall. I don't mind, but it's tacky, don't you think? And as for all the smut on the internet, it's like TV. Nobody's forcing you to turn it on and watch it. On the other hand, I will help hunt down and demolish spammers, phishers, and porn pushers who bombard the world with their pathetic crap. Oh, poo, my soapbox just fell apart. I'll rant more later. |
| Religion | I know enough great people who are religious, to not dismiss it. I've dabbled in I Ching, Zen, several protestant churches, and Quakers. At this point, I'm comfortable with unprogrammed Quakerism. But I firmly believe that our journey is one of discovery, and to limit yourself to the stifling rules of any one religion is a big mistake. The great people (not famous, just truly wonderful people who almost glow), I know who are successful in their religion are open minded. They have their beliefs but are willing to listen to others. I think this is very important, because what good would God be if he too didn't listen to others. God is not the great stern fatherly poophead many would make him out to be. I don't know exactly what s/he is, but I think s/he parties! |
