Ranger Francis Gage

He hates his first name, unless introducing him, only Julie (and occasionally Sydney) calls him that.  He trained Sydney Cooke on a nine-month undercover assignment and then requested her as his partner.  His parents were killed when he was ten, he grew up in an abusive foster home, and has one sister, Julie, who is a reporter.  His mode of transportation changes, he’s driven a truck and an old car.  He’s single, but has dated or kissed many girls, including an ex-convict, an actress, and he’s even been turned in during an undercover assignment by a friend of an ex-girlfriend.  One of his ex-girlfriends was killed in an accident which left him deaf for awhile.  He likes salsa (the food) and Dallas sports; his favorite Elvis song is Blue Suede Shoes”, he is chronically late, and somewhat of a klutz.  He was attacked by a bear on Walker’s bachelor trip and is usually with Sydney.
