Remove
Cover And Prepare
Case
-To
remove the cover and
prepare case is
fairly simple. Look
at the back of the
case and you will
see four screws
holding the case’s
cover on. Be careful
not to unscrew the
power supply on
accident. When
removing the cover
be careful
of any wires that
may get caught on
case itself.
Inspect
Case And Parts
-We
will want to take a
look on the inside
of
case and check out
what parts we have.
First
we should have a bag
that contains an
I/O
shield, various
screws and
connectors. There
will be a power cord
inside the case
itself to connect
power later. Now
looking at the case
we will also see
many power
connectors hanging
down. The connectors
will hook into our
drives later. It is
easier to take a
rubber band and
simply tie them up
out of the way for
now.
Install
Brass Standoff’s
-The
brass standoffs are
little brass screws
with a male and
female end. One end
screws in the
motherboard pan and
the other end will
sit on bottom of
motherboard. Install
standoffs into the
spots where you
marked with a marker
earlier. Screw
standoffs in and set
motherboard on top
making sure they all
match. If all is
good then take
motherboard out of
case. We need to add
some components to
it before setting it
in.
