From behind the Great Oak, swarmed with minute glass sprites, steps a creature so lovely words to describe her do not exist. To look directly at her skyclad form is to bring tears of joy to even those possessing the coldest of hearts. A flash of creamy skin, a golden wavy lock of hair, a glimpse of full ruby lips, crystaline blue eyes, the faint scent of honey, soft ethereal music, and a shimmering aura of divine benevolence signify the presence of Jheroina Lalune, the Nymph of Ecstasy.
The kingdom itself was named after the once great deity of Hedonism, Ecstasy. The Shattering of the multiverse obliterated the Gods, but their concepts and ideals still remain in the most faithful of followers; the seeds for their fortold Rebirth. For a brief time, the deity of Hedonism and Jheroina were the most intimate of lovers; Their similar natures and passions feuled a fire that lit the Heavens. During her romance with the deity, Jheroina breifly merged with Ecstasy, becoming a yin to his yang. She became the female embodiment of Hedonism. Her power was pale in comparison to his although, for she was a mere mortal... and she had limitations.
The Shattering of the multiverse threatened to rip Hedonism apart as his powers were divided an unlimited number of times. He attempted to use his weakening powers to anchor himself to a single universe, Dan, through the bond he shared with Jheroina. The overwelming energies were too much for the nymph to handle, and she was killed. Without his anchor, Ecstasy of Hedonism was lost as well.
For an unmarked amount af time, Jheroina Lalune was dead to these worlds. The site which she died became the most beautiful forest in all of Shadowmere. It was a place of pure serentity and blissfulness. The forest was watched over, and preserved, by the dearest of her sprite friends.
The forest dwellers' love for Jheroina, whose life ended by birthing such an enchanting habitat, grew greater as time passed, and they began to revere Jheroina as a Saint. Because she was merged with Ecstasy when he died, a small fraction of his power lingered about the forest, and because of her friends' love, she was ressurrected... and she promptly named the forest, her kingdom, after her deceased lover, the God of Hedonism... Ecstasy.
Jheroina Lalune is a lady who allows her heart to dictate her path, lets her life soar on the winds, lets her fears drown in her undying faith. She despises war and acts of violence... making her an outcast in a world that thrives upon it. Her defence against such a world is not swords, shields, a legion of armies... because her words are her swords, her faith is her shield, and her army is as big as her heart can reach.
Recently, Jheroina was approached by longtime friend, Lady Panoyiza of Kloriean, to join the Sagittarius Offensive Alliance. After her ressurection, Jheroina felt a loss of purpose. Joining Sagittarius gave her a reason to continue her good causes; only now, she does not feel so alone. Because she is non-aggressive, Jheroina's has decided to concentrate primarily on defensive magicks to assist her fellow allies. Her rebirth has weakened her magickal abilities and she must relearn what she has lost. Jheroina Lalune is currently a Neophyte Arch Mage of Sagittarius. |
