... A little about me...
Let me start out but introducing myself! My name is Becca and I was born and raised in the great state of Virginia! I'm am OFFICIALLY an ALUMNI  of Virginia Intermont College! I am currently working as a kindergarten teacher with one of the local public school systems...
For the 2005-2006 school year I have 23 lil ankle biters (er... Kindergarteners) and love every day of it!!!! (Though I could KILL a few of 'em, muahaha! Just kidding!!! LOL) You probably know this already, but I''m gonna tell you anyways.....I am an avid equestrian, and addicted to horses, especially Arabians & Half-Arabians...  I have been riding/showing/training horses for the past 15 years & love it!   This is one habit I'll NEVER give up!

The 2005 horse show season has come to a close. It has been a very good year for us. Allie has come such a looooooooong way since I started working with her on her undersaddle training. Dear ol' Danny is still a work in progress, no thanks to a crummy farrier who didn't know what the heck she was doing... The guy we have now is soooo much better.
He put shoes on Dan's front feet a 2 months ago, he's doing really well & I think he's finally on the road to recovery! If all goes well, I am hoping to have him going again possibly by next summer. But, we'll have to wait & see what happens :)  As for my super star of a Half-Arabian filly, Allie, she has had on heck of a show ring debute @ the ODAHA & VAHA shows in March& June, 2005! My goals for the 2005 season have by far been accomplished!!! We qualified for & showed in the 2 Half-Arabian Mares Sporthorse In-hand classes and also the Half-Arabian Sport Horse Undersaddle ATR & Jr. Horse classes @ the 2005 Arabian/Half-Arabian

Sport Horse Nationals in September !! She was such a super star...even though those rotten judges didn't seem to notice,(mumble, grumble) we had 2 extremely good, or should I say GREAT rides. I could not have asked for better! Even though we didn't get a darn thing,(those dang judges were blind I tell you, BLIND!!) I can still say that she is one heck of Half-Arabian Sport Horse & ranks among some of the top Half-Arab Jr. Sport Horses in the Nation!  Now, that's sayin' something. Ok, with winter showing its full force, we'll continue to train for the up coming show season, and I am working on the Training Level test 1 & 2 with Allie for the 2006 show season...
