MIAMI INDIAN MAIDEN APPLICATION
MIAMI NATION OF INDIANA OF INDIANA The Miami Elder Women's Council is looking for a young Miami Indian maiden to represent the Miami Indians of Indiana at the General meeting in April and october, the Miami Indian reunion in August, and if possible attend other Miami Tribal events. Applicant must be between the ages of 13 to 19, never married and have no children. Must also be an enrolled member of the Miami Indians of Indiana and has knowledge of the Miami. Past maidens who qualify may reapply. A current picture, resume and short essay on why you are proud to be a Miami Indian of Indiana is required. The Elder Women's Council will outfit the winner in proper regalia. Parental permission is required for an applicant under the age of 18.
